Unfortunately the "sandbox" crowd here don't know what they want. If you were to take a poll there would be like 5-6 different types of games because everyone's definition is different. With that being said I used to actually think the same way Lolnatic, however when pretty much everyone went crazy gaga over a very mediocre FFXIV then I knew this site was all talk and no show when it comes to sandbox. Especially considering EQN took a hard hit, and it is the truest form of sandbox one can get for the genre.

With that being said and to address the OP, I too think Wildstar falls short of my expectations and it's a shame because it has some elements that I truly love about MMO's, such as: An Exploration centric playstyle, Player housing, Limited Hotbar/Action Combat. But the overly cartoony gfx and sci-fi nature of the game has put me off.

Why would I be such a fan of EQN with its graphics style and not Wildstars? Because I think EQN's is not Cartoony (except for the Kerren) plus the backdrop and world is natural looking. Wildstar is pure Saturday Morning Cartoon and is more cartoony then WoW, IMO.

Doesn't really matter to me, I'll judge the game on the other points. It could have been better though, but I'm usually alright with cartoonish style.

Same here. Same with WoW and same with EQN. All considered Cartoony by many but for what ever reason, EQN and WoW are fine, Wildstar just looks bad, to bad for my tastes.

i was going to try this game out but i forgot my password to my acct so i requested a new password. then changed it and after when trying to log on it keeps saying my password is wrong even when its not. SO i gave up on it no use playing a game u cant even log in or change your password to.

I am just glad their are so many to choose from next year this year was horrible,

ffxiv were lucky that their was no other mmos to play.

If you were lucky enough to get into the beta and you are not trolling there might be a reason that your account does not work. That is because the beta has been down for close to two months now while they make some big design changes. They have not announced when closed beta 4 will begin. You should try your acct and password then or simply attempt to access any beta forums that you may have been given access to.
