City of - Successor Funded By Greatest Community In Gaming

Hey guys this post is to thank all other former CoH players who donated to the kickstarter and to inform any old City of players that might not be aware, one of the 3 successor games to our beloved game started their Kickstarter 20 days ago. The game is called City of Titans and looks like it will be a great game, it is fully funded thanks to the fantastic community City of Heroes had and still has.

I just donated to them, not many days left so I just thought I would try to tell anyone who didnt know. Cant wait to play a City of Heroes like game since the greatest game ever made (in my opinion and most who tried CoX games) no longer exists. Its not fair what happened but there is hope =). Thanks to everyone else who donated, seeing our community pull together makes you realize there are heroes out there, we just lost our powers for now.

    every once and awhile you should support an underdog dev team. This is that time for me ^_^

    im tired of big names turning out the same crap as each other and hype machining it into something its not.

    time to get my hero on.

    I've donated a pretty sizable chunk, and am pulling heavily for the team.  I was an off and on player for all 8 years, and haven't ever found a community as accommodating and mature as CoX.  I'm  really rooting for the MWM team, in my opinion they are heading in the perfect direction for a successor.

    I really think they can do it, they are unproven but everyone has their shot in life and I know I loved City of Heroes more than I have ever loved a game, yet all the people at MwM loved it so much they made a company to honor its memory, so it makes me think that they wont fail because they can't fail...Atlas held up the world on his shoulders, they have a group of heroes who arent just holding it, they are lifting it.

    I cant believe NCSoft with all the effort we put into saving our game still shut it down...if they would have asked for money obviously we would have pulled together as a community as we have now, but they thought they could just shut us down and we would die quietly....guess we are showing them =)

    Was an Avid player from release to when the game ended. These guys really look like they got something. Something very special just like COH had. Can't wait to follow up on the games development, and your right. There is no other community like COH.
