They are making it so that there are other ways to level your secondary classes in the next patch. The one they went into depth with was increasing the rewards for Dungeons and increasing the need / want to return to those dungeons. They will also add a random dungeon feature so that you get increased Exp. and tomes if that's used. In that they hope that the times to get into dungeons will be much less and that it will surpass FATE grinding in terms of getting experience for your characters.

Nurvus, not defending the lack of quest leveling available for alts (unless you roll a new character), but honestly non-fate leveling through dungeons will become much more competitive across-the-board, not just in daily roulettes. All dungeon xp is getting a big boost, in case you hadn't heard.
I am wondering why players wants to be lvl 50 on all jobs asap. Can somebody explain?
What I am enjoying is helping friends, playing low lvl dungeons with them while learning new job etc, collecting sets(foestrikers etc). I dont need to be lvl 50 on my second third or forth job in a week.
I am doing it in my "free time" and i have fun. I dont have feel that its must to have everything at lvl 50 so you have to grind something as fast as possible.
In my FC when you ask for help with story you get almost instantly helpers so your waiting time for story dungeons is like 1 minute.
Maybe I suggest everybody to play the game with friends or make friends in game and put more RP into it. If you play the game just mechanicali to max everything no matter what while thinking about shortest way to lvl 50 I understand your frustation. But problem is not in game, problem is in you cos you dont know how to enjoy all aspect of game, coop and RP.

The reward should be a bag of goodies called Satchel of Exotic Mysteries or Satchel of Helpful Goods
