Traveling player vendors - good or bad?

docminus2docminus2 Member UncommonPosts: 184

Just read that there will be traveling player vendors - you flag yourself and become a buy/sell station without interaction.

I guess the basic idea is good, player shop in other words. I just see though Lineage II or Silk Road Online and other MMOs of that sort where there are dozens and dozens of players stuffing up certain areas - it was never nice.

Yes, TR is not comparable to L2 or such.

Maybe I am being too worried for nothing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't TR have an auction house? If so that  will mean that there is no reasons to remain in game afk to sell items. What this is good for is exploiting sieges and other highly contested areas by merchants to make money, which is a good ting for those who want to be merchants.

Stop using TR...it reminds me of tabula rasa.

I always thought that was a "plus". Especially in the cities because they made them feel like actual cities, hustle and bustle, commerce, etc.
