If you are following Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, then you'll definitely want to check out Brad McQuaid's Q&A on Reddit yesterday.
Here are some of the questions:
User malakie00: How will you help the players find out which areas/dungeons have other players wanting to group?
Brad McQuaid: Blowing through content legitimately is part of the game. Power leveling by killing the same mob over and over again will be difficult. You don't level JUST by earning exp in this game. More on the Achievement System later.
User treestick: What aspects of an MMO do you find make it most immersive and feel like a world rather than a game?
Brad McQuaid: Immersive to me is an open world, grouping with others, a massive world to explore, and very different zones. Memorable encounters, barely surviving combat and talking about it later with my friends. A true sense of accomplishment. I could go on and on

I liked seeing that each race was going to have their own unique starting area. Too many mmos make a story that supports only having like 2 starting areas to make things quicker/less expensive, but in the end not as unique/memorable.
I also like the idea of less levels, but where it takes longer to level, so it means more, and the less emphasis on camping one spot, but more a whole area, where a name can spawn anywhere and such.
No quest hubs, just epic and more involved quests. Open world is a bonus.
I loved EQ/VG, so hopefully they can come close to that with their final product and it funds. Even if this isn't a game for someone, it is always good to have more variety.
Their are a ton of railed, quest hub, and instanced mmos out there, so if that is your preferred, it may not be for you.
He did say they were focusing on content that you can accomplish things in 1-2 hours, it isn't the 10-30 minutes a lot of people talk about, but it isn't that bad imo.
He handled that AMA well.
Kind of intrigued what is going on with P1999 though. Smart that he is using it as a resource.
Yes you don't like the game or Brad. But there are still people out there who want a different experience that the lowest common denominator.
