When you take money, people expect you to provide a useable product.
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

Of course... except this time you're paying for alpha which has always been buggy and barely playable... unless it's not really alpha... in which case they're selling you something very different than what you paid for...
I think its funny that so many people thought $100 was getting you into some kind of early access fun time...
No..$100 made you part of a small testing group, you're there to find problems, see what works, what doesn't work. Like Beta...but so much more. It's not a demo of the game, its giving feedback on what the game will be.
But, yes, way to go analyzing the economic desparity and finding the root cause! I KNEW IT WAS SMEDLY ALL ALONG! Tricking you poor plebians into making purchases that you likely saved and set aside personal comforts for. Don't you know you need that money to pay for that hospital bill that you might have one day even though you will likely never even come close to having the disposable income to afford a simple visit to the ER for some stitches...ect...ect.
Smed is offering a money back guaranty. You can always get your money back. SOE is handling the development of this game in the best way I have seen over the last 15 years following/playing MMO's.
We will offer a full refund to anyone not satisfied with the Alpha.

I don't think it was the money that formed the opinion. I think it was the malformed thinking & persecuting tone when speaking of the poor.

Probably because they polished it up in the real alpha before sending it on to the people that paid $100 to be in alpha.
I'm gonna guess...yours.
Since when is Tuesday a direction?
Who cares where you got it. It's an awesome analogy and hits the nail on the head.
