Need good population and loot PVP

alishawkatalishawkat Member Posts: 3

Hey guys, I'm looking for a MMO with a good pop and open loot pvp. Could be partial or full loot doesn't matter to me. I was looking at dark fall but it seems pretty dead. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Mortal Online is what you're looking for. There's also open-PvP areas and corpse looting in Eldevin.

"Upon hitting level 15, you can head to Trapper's Atoll, our first open world PvP area known as a "Wild Zone". Here you can find powerful creatures, other players, hidden loot chests and rare resources. Participating in any of the these 4 actions will result in you gaining tokens. These are a sparkly effect that surround your character. There are a number of places in the zone you can convert your tokens into Valor currency, the trick however is not to be killed while holding tokens. If any other player kills you, he can potentially steal all your tokens are try and cash them out him or her self!"

So if you want totally open world PvP with full corpse looting, go Mortal Online. If you want open PvP areas with corpse looting, go Eldevin.

Are those games busy? No one seems to be talking about Mortal Online.

    Thanks

Mortal Online has a pretty small playerbase as well but it is F2P so I'd encourage you to try it out.

Honestly it's going to be hard to find a game with looting and PvP (at least full loot) as it is a very niche market. It's just not popular.

Open Loot PVP and Good Population typically do not go together.

I'd still play UO if it was T2A and they updated the graphics a bit -- {or at least get rid of the patchwork design EAs half-assed over the years } -- I'd kill for a UO rez that looked like torchlight but with all the old mechanics.

But no, lets make SWTOR... mutherfu.....

Hey man, about the Mortal Online. I've installed it today, and I was amazed by the population, there are insane amounts of people playing. The chat is alive, people are friendly, helping newbies. The starting zones are insanely crowded. But I am wondering about the later levels, I mean how active are they.

By the way, I think there's only one server, because I didn't saw an option to select one.

I am tempted to recommend Darkfall but last I checked the population was going down hill. But that game is geared towards the hardcore pvp full loot crowd. I did  5.5 years before they ruined it but it's still hard core.

I know that Darkfall Unholy Wars Asia is absolutely crawling with players right now, so if you know how to set yourself up with the asian client you can always play that. There is an american playerbase there so you won't be required to know moonrunes to play.

With DFUW doing so well in asia, i bet the population in NA and EU is at least decent

Also if you are into building and destroying things, Wurm Online is pretty good from what i've heard from a friend.

    Waiting for:
    The Repopulation
    Albion Online

Mortal Online is a very active game.

Most on this forum despise it so you won't hear many good things about it, but it has a free trial so you may as well check it out yourself.

Id recommend DFUW. Not sure what the population is like these days but real fun if you can get an active guild. I'm really hoping this game goes ftp soon.

Mortal Online is great with friends / a guild to protect you from being randomly ganked, I actually liked MO's graphics. It was like Oblivion graphics meets Ultima Online gameplay.
