    Well from what i ahve read and been told i am not expecting anything special and certainly nothing new compared to other MMORPGS that are out there.. basically been told its very close to GW2 but with a ES skin.. Still I will wait and hold out my opinion until later today :) but i do not have high hopes for this game

    Why is there so much hate for TESO? I mean come on people..  The UI and the combat is state of the art, intuitiveness. It reminds me of how the amazing darkfall original UI was when i had to hit escape to use the mouse. THAT'S GENIUS!!

    I haven't even mentioned anything about the "PHASED" (instanced) multiple copies of cyrodil, can you imagine if i was emperor of phase #3029 ? Then i could claim ownage and quit the game, nevermind the other 3028 emperors of cyrodil!

    Instanced pvp is trash people get a friggin clue. Stop playing gw2, stop playing these thempark instanced pieces of shit.

    i find it more astounding that people got a so tiny rl that they have nothing else todo then waiting on a beta that is a stresstest more then a play the game beta but .........

    still that £8 could be spent on a few pints down the pub thanks.. plus that is not the real point.. The game is too expensive and its as simple as that.. I would also not call GW an unknown IP.

    I would not have much of an issue about the sub if they where asking a normal price for a game.. but nearly £20 mroe expensive than normal games is qutie a big difference no matter how much hours of entertainment they claim.

     

    Anyway this is going way off topic now I am sure there are threads about this already here.

     

     

    Also for that price would could sub to netflix or one of the others and watch hundreds of films and TV series..

    sucks for you, enjoy your pint and netflix instead!

    who the hell pays for netflix anymore anyways? i can watch anything i want streaming online for free.

    Dont think Darkfall is a good example to compare maybe 1000 people online at a time, being generous to possibly hundreds of thousands. I'm sure the game would be fun with 5000 player zergs roaming around in slow motion.

    My life maybe sad in some people's eyes (most people) but I do what I love and have no money issues. I went to sleep early to wake up and play this today. Even if it's stress I don't care. I've been in the old betas but I don't care.

    How do you know we have such an inactive RL.  Ever occur to you that we schedule our lives to have time to play games and betas on a regular basis.

    Also it doesn't help that my job is cancelled for the next week or two because its like 2 degree here with about 8in of snow.  Yeah not alot, but it makes my job impossible to even consider attempting, thus I have lots of free time right now!

    I find it more astounding that people got so tiny rl that they need to point out how tiny other people rl is, to build up their ego.

     

    I will not evaluate my life, but despite having pretty varied everyday, I am eager to play this beta, and have been thinking about it all the day at work like a little kid waiting for christmas legos, and I am very happy to be able to appreciate small things in life.. and at the same time sad for people, who miss that perk.

    It is nice to not be so bitter and actually enjoy a hobby like gaming. The way some people talk you would think they dont even enjoy playing a game anymore.

    I too am glad I enjoy some simple things, like playing ESO beta all weekend while it snows and is 4 degrees outside.
