My best moment in FF history is on my ps1 playing FFVll when i exclaimed in victory as i finally reached the end of the 2nd disc after many many many months hahah. Would love the chance to play the new series havent been able to since my graphic card is dying so this would be a win win but thanks for the contest ^_^
Ah, Final Fantasy. Favorite release is Final Fantasy Tactics, but a close second is Final Fantasy VII. The story and job system in FFT was amazing. Good guys becoming bad guys becoming good guys, terrific plot twists. Being that I liked FFVII so much, I'd say finding out you could unlock Cloud was the most exciting moment of the game.
Oh yeah, FFX was crazy good as well, ready to buy that re-release soon!
I have yet to play FFXIV, but my favorite memory of the FF series is when I found and obtained Yojimbo. I will never forget having to spend my precious Gil for him to possibly do nothing(and have his dog attack) or 1 hit the enemy. Even to this day I name my characters one of my characters Yojimbo no matter what RPG i play.
My favorite game! I love how FFXIV combines pieces and references and classes from ALL the Final Fantasy Lore. The complexity and the difficulty are perfectly balanced with the rewards and adventure that come from sticking with it. Can't wait for v2.2!
My favorite experience in FFXIV was hopping in for the first time and seeing the immense detail and love that was put into everything.
Case and Point: One of the first times I was in Camp Drybone and it started storming. First of all, varying weather effects change the feel of all the zones, not to mention look awesome. So it starts storming and theres wind blowing and I see mine and other peoples clothes blowing in the wind. I thought it was so cool. And then I started moving around and I noticed it. The friggen wind actually has a wind direction. As you rotate your character, your clothes blow in the same direction that the wind was going.
FFXIV is the first MMO that has dragged my brother from WoW and give me my duo partner back. FFXIV got my brother to FINALLY quit WoW!
Never forget, error 9000. Amongst the many other launch errors in the beginning days of FFXIV: ARR. Never stopped me, however, I relentlessly tried to log in every half hour just itching to keep leveling my Phase 4 Beta toon! Apart from that, however, the very first "real" challenge most players faced? Titan HM. To this day, I still use a gamepad due to it's smoother movements to get me past Titan's many hectic assaults. Add in the heavy rock soundtrack in the background and it makes for one hell of a ride.
My favorite FF memory has to do with being lost and off quest on a borrowed NES. My brothers and I struggled to figure out what the next step was for several days and getting a bit crazy about it. We were finally about to give it all up and go back to playing RC PRO/AM when the friend we had borrowed it called and asked if we wanted to borrow the Nintendo Power guide for it...
I have never been so happy about having a map at any point since.
I would have to say when my cousin called me one day and told me, "Hey! I just bought the cutest action figure at Gamestop!". She had unknowingly bought FFX-2 Yuna, and went on to tell me that there was "another really cute figure with a ponytail and a scarf". I went to game stop with her and my aunt (her mom) to see, and ended up buying Rikku.
I remember looking at her box and saying, "Final Fantasy?..I've heard of this". It all went from there. We bought the game and played it in my cousin's basement. I distinctly remember my mom calling on their house phone right in the middle of Yuna's concert saying she had to pick me up. xD
A bit late into the series, but I was 12 when X-2 came out and therefore had no real interest in T rated games just yet. I've played the series forward and I'm working my way backward. FFIX was also my first MMO thanks to this. Rikku's been one of my favorite characters, since if I hadn't bought her figure, I wouldn't have been introduced to FF when I was. She's special to me.
I'm not gonna lie I haven't had a chance to play many final fantasy games, but that doesn't mean i'm not a fan. These games are great and have such rich story lines and characters i'm stupid for not playing them more. I have however played final fantasy 7 when i was younger. I remember it well because it's really the only one i'v played. I remember close fights and frustration and pure joy as I beat main bosses. Yeah this isn't particularly the best story experience, but you know damn well that i'll play that game if I get it .
My account was hacked and taken from me, and the guys at square enix told me that i needed to fill out a form and then copy my drivers liscense then drive to a notary and get it legally notarized then mail it back to them before i could get my account back. I told them to keep my 50 bucks. Would not buy again (but might accept a free copy)
I've never played FFXIV but my favorite FFXI memory was putting my my four years of Japanese study in high school to use. I was the only one of my friends able to consistently find high level groups at the start

The chocobos!
I love to ride them and enjoy sightseeing around Eorzea!
and the fact that they are consistent to the original design of the chocobos make them even more better!
