If You’ve Read All of This And You Still Don’t Know

If you’ve gotten to this point and you still aren’t sure whether you want a PS4 or an Xbox One, I think I know what advice to give you: Don’t buy either.

I’m not saying you should never buy either. I’m saying that if the cool new features of these boxes aren’t enough to sway you one way or the other, you might not be happy with either one at this point.

I’ve been playing the exclusive launch games for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and neither library is very good right now.

Sony’s big launch game Knack is cute and pretty, but can get repetitive and a little boring. Microsoft’s Ryse: Son of Rome is a rushed mess.

..

at $400 and $500, there’s a lot of room for those prices to drop before next Christmas.

Not to mention the fact that a lot of promised features, like Twitch streaming on Xbox One, are still unreleased.

If you don’t want to pay to be a beta tester for everyone else, then don’t.

You want to have the hardware in hand to play games as they come along. So for me that means PS4 and WII U. PS4 is the most powerful console, but Nintendo do have nice games.

Both are good consoles, so not really sure which one to get. I still have a huge backlog of games to play on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Not to mention there are plenty of good PC games out there. I will probably wait a bit longer, before I purchase a next gen console.
