In less than a month, WildStar’s beta has been patched with two huge content updates. Now that the level cap raised to 50 and endgame opened for testing, Winter Beta 3 could be the most interesting patch so far.     Either coming out a couple months before WOD or a few months after WOD is the ticket.   anything closer to its release and their gonna do worse.

    The competition is getting good. Warlords is coming and eqnext is getting some positive feedback, ESO sucks, and they are testing the elder game? I would think a Wildstar launch is imminent.

    Super excited, the download keeps failing for me on the beta, so im a little pissed at the game atm, but I am trying to keep in mind its only the beta lol!

    Years? I highly doubt that.  6 more months tops for WOD

    It's a little confusing, but WoD is not just World of Darkness anymore, since the next World of Warcraft Expansion is "Warlords of Draenor" and fans of that game are using the WOD acronym.

    With 7.8 million players worldwide,  I think your gonna lose WoD.  and after reading about world of darkness, it seems ccp has blown their wod trying to get the thing completed.

    Launch in May/June, that's my guess and I'm 100% right (in my own mind!).

    At Gamescom last year, during one of the Q & A session's at the Carbine booth, they were asked about a release date, to which Chad Moore replied March 20th.

    Funny thing is, nobody that is following Wildstar seem's to have picked up on it at all, no fan site's that I have seen have mentioned it, none of the news site's that I frequent have either.

    A creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve, not the desire to beat others.

    WOD=world of darkness is to pigeon holed, only vampires blah blah..CCp already droped the ball with Dust i forsee the same even with white wolf..etc.

    WoD= World of Dreanor is just more reskins and orcs design badly...ill wait for real orcs from warhammer!-ty.

    Wildstar= looks promising for sci-fi/ vanilla wow kids alike.

    ESO= has its devoted loyal fanbase say what u say-u cant touch it , really.

    Kinda Wish they didn't test raids so everyone is on the same playing field when the game launches.

    Wish I could try out this game... in any event I'm looking forward to this game. People say WoW clone, but the truth is I, and I think many others, are looking for a spiritual successor to WoW. None of the other MMOs captured WoWs magic and thus never did as well.. but maybe this will.

    Wildstar has such great animations and great humor. It's really tragic that the game engine itself is so abysmal.  Both with the character skill system and the graphic engine performance.

     

    It would be quite unfortunate if the game released in the next few months.

    Now (or soon) is a good time to announce the release date. Fans are getting restless and beginning to lose interest in the WS hype. The ESO preorders are also pulling hype in that direction, so if Carbine is smart ( and I think they are), they will announce a launch date soon. June is my best guess for release, since it still falls in the Q2 launch window, and (hopefully) gives me 2 months to play through ESO before I cancel my sub for WS. I wouldn't even mind a July or August release, but by the look of things, it will probably be June.

    Looking forward to Carbine releasing more info onopen beta and release date.
    I've got a good feeling about this game.
    Hopefully after the weekends stress test....... some announcements perhaps, maybe.....

    Ya know... I'm still planning on playing this game but I'm rapidly loosing long term interest in it.  I think I will just wait for the release then I may give this a go.
