I want to believe you, but knowing that Skyrim sold 5X as much on consoles, my more realistic guess says consoles.

Im think the same way, its just the 15$ a month thing, I think will scare console players away.

You can't pirate on consoles well you can but it's damn hard. Everyone I know played skyrim any means they could.
With that in mind you can't pirate an mmo.
I think people are giving the answer to the wrong question here, the question was not "what would YOU rather play on?" as I'm sure most here are obviously already playing MMO's on PC. Truth is the consoles will have a far bigger slice of the pie than PC for this game, at least with the initial launch sales and first month.
I think for console to pass PC (and it is possible) the controls will have to be extremely user friendly. I'm also curious to see how the addon's will work on a console, if they are even available, as it would lead me to believe that people who are playing "seriously" would be more apt to stick with the PC.
This + what the guy said about people who play PC skyrim having pirated it ( a lot do )
Throw in the subscription for a console audience...
PC will undoubtedly win this poll's question.
They won't have to.
PC and PS4 are on different servers, never to meet.
Part of the reason the PS4 version will slowly die a painful death because of all three iterations of the game having separate servers.
I would try it on PS4, but I dont own a PS4, I am just curious how do I communicate with others? Is it only VOIP options? or is there a keyboard attachment?
I would hate to have to do everything with a headset on
I personally think you're all deluding yourselves if you think consoles aren't going to do as well as PC's, maybe a lot here aren't used to playing cross platform games?
Look at DCUO for instance, while that's F2P there's like 70% more people playing on the playstations than on PC. Not to mention the fact this IP is an IP the console players are used to, a lot of fans of the elder scrolls series on consoles and I doubt all of them share the PC master race view and will ditch their systems to buy a new rig just for this game. They didn't do that to play the more superior PC version of skyrim and to have the ability to use mods... and as said there were 5 times as many people playing the dulled down skyrim on consoles.
PC will no doubt have the better community however the question was quantity not quality.
As others have pointed out, don't try the answer the question within your own shoes.
Think about the HUGE console market that has yet to be tapped. A lot of the folks that prefer console gaming certainly aren't the ones posting here on mmorpg.com.
would ya like to make a friendly bet one that
F2P may be the way of the future, but ya know they dont make them like they used to
Proper Grammer & spelling are extra, corrections will be LOL at.
i beleave that right off the bat it will be PS4, but in the long run it will be PC players that stick around the most.
why you ask it simplke the basic mentality of PC gamers VS console gamerss is diffrent. nothing wrong with that but console gamers tend to hope from game to game alot more.

Yes, but far from all people with a PC can actually play a modern game on it...
I still think PC though since to me it feels more like a PC game then a console game, but as people did point out was Skyrim actually more popular on PS4 so I guess anything is possible.
50/50 anyone that has played an elders scrolls game will be interested.
if you don't understand 50%console 50% pc.
Tamriel Foundry results in October show PC and not even close. http://tamrielfoundry.com/2013/10/by-the-numbers-2-results/
PC might sell more...
But PS4 and Xbox One players will stick with the game much much longer, because the whole MMO gaming will be fresh and new to them, and on top of that there are no real alternatives for ESO in the console buiseness..
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
