Please all be aware
If you play this this Great game... You will be joining many others that are having a good time.. Yes there are some issues.. But being the game is only a couple months out of Beta.. It is doing very well.. I may not always agree with some things done.. But that is personal choice.. I have not had any issues playing the game.. Some things need Changed and HCS is working on those things... It is not instant to do some stuff.. That being said I hope many will come give the game a Shot...

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.

Before level 20 it seems very promising which is why I invested $60.
BUT... There is another thread in the forums which I posted information about Eldevin and I STRONGLY urge people to read my post if you are going to try Eldevin.
By all means try it and remember my post and observe how the gameplay feels in gathering and crafting, look down the road and just see if the information I posted could be true and save yourself time.
Most definately DO NOT spend money on this game, you WILL regret it! Unless you LOVE mindless clicking on nodes for hundreds of hours.
You WILL find out its all true about the gathering, crafting and the questing.
My purpose in posting this is to save people from spending money on this, try farming, and see what the game is like, you will see how ridiculous the gathering system is.... don't take my word for it.

It is not the Game at all... You want a Easy Button... Every game takes work if you want to make gains... But then there are Lazy people that want every thing handed to them... Please people Try the game don't let this guy fool you..... He is not what I would call a reliable source of info....The game is being updated a couple time each week. The game is NEW no one said it is perfect.. But for some one to shoot it down with out a fair try is really sad....

I am very happy to have come accross ELDEVIN by chance only..
I was looking for a relaxed game (to play on the side when not "busy" in RIFT or Everquest II) , with nice crafting and gathering: I personally love to craft my own equipment, and Eldevin just gives me that: I can level up all professions ;-))
There are people around, like me, who want to slack off with a cup of coffee in one hand and clicking those "stupid" crystals, fruits, sheep... and what not ... with another. There are story-quests...and they made me pretty quick choose a fraction (Arcane Council) and identifying with this holistic world. Dungeons are fun, but never really creepy / scary,... and the UI is well thought through. This is a browser based game where You can go wherever You want to on the map. I call this a friendly, cosy game. If You want more flashy action and a much bigger world with high end graphics You must turn to online games like RIFT, TERA and the like.... but that's a different league.
I personally love this game.
I glanced over it once thinking it wasn't for me boy was i wrong. Me and my mumble crew were looking for something together (since we came from FF14 and diablo 3 and WoW) i was feeling to get a classic kinda browser game to play. I suggested it and me and 2 others went for it.
It was nice reminded me of runescape so it felt nice and at home. Then the first quest i was thrusted into took me by surprise i loved the first quest (and i loved more to come). From there i entered the world learning to shoot a bow melee and magic the game really allows you to explore the diversity of the skills and attributes. The crafting IS WORK but i think that adds to the classic feel to it. I dont mind killing a lot to get mats and learning to craft new items its an open world that accepts that playstyle. you can quest then craft go to a random dungeon whatever.
The questing is very smooth the story lines are flawless if you stop to read them and enjoy the experience. because it is slow not fast paced race to the finish and i love it. It takes time so you relax playing the game learning about the world and being a real part of it. the story is GREAT.
The combat i also like some people think its too fast i think its great with the AI they have. because you can pull other mobs easy etc. in closed quarters that can be doom so to quickly use my skills to fell my foe is how i like it. Theres a sense of danger.
It does have a cash shop, but its only vanity and potions which allow you to progress faster. so if you like faster play sub i might be end of this week. not that i need the exp boost or anything. You can also BUY GOLD, i do not know the implications of this on end game yet but thus far playing i make enough cash for myself and am doing great F2P.
Give this game a try you will be surprised i was. Then again my opinion I hope more people share theer experience and build on this potential it has.
