As part of today's earlier announcement that the World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor, is now available for preorder, Blizzard has also released a new video that shows exactly how the level 90 boost, available immediately on purchase, will work.

Does that mean MoP is an optional component?

If you preorder (only digitally) WoD now, you'll get free boost immediately.

Oh if I knew what WOW would become in the future when I played WOW long time ago before all expansions... I wouldnt have believed it

Oh you mean a video game that just keeps on going? Instead of sticking with the old crusty ways and sinking out of sight? Like it or not, it's been making money and continues to make money. I haven't decided on purchase plans for this expansion though. Wildstar is an up and comer and it feels different in a way that I like, neither game has a release date and the level 90 isn't enough to get me to bite, especially when I already have a few 90 ' s and they are of my favorite classes. Why not buy both? Primary reason is because of World of Warcraft. That's been my go to game over the past 6 years, and it devalued every other game I played. If all goes as I hope, Wildstar will be my new go to game and WoW will be resting on the shelf.

You still have to have the core game and all expacks through MoP installed but, yeah, basically you can skip all Pandaland stuff and move on to the reimagined Outlands for the Draenor content.

I'm sure this may appeal to some. I'm just glad I got out when I did. This is a sad sight. But just my opinion.
