this beta wasn't as good as the others

I was able to connect fully in the last 2 betas, in pve, and pvp was a nightmare and I got booted off like every 3 minutes in pvp.
but this beta I can't even stay connected to pve. im playing in asia but was wondering if anyone else had this issue as me. I might have to get a proxy.
anyone else have the issue of trouble connecting at the login screen?

No lag,no disco's in fact running as smooth as butter from the NA situated Euro server only real bug bear is the bugged quests but no doubt this is what the stress test is about and more people stressing the servers will cause this ,so far pretty good for a beta test and as it's my third it's certainly the smoothest and most fluid.
Not tried PVP so can't comment on that just the PVE side of things.
You probably need someone from your geographical area to give their experience on connection performance.
I'm playing on the EU server from the UK and as you may expect, my experience is totally different from yours. Smooth gameplay, no disconnects, no problems.
yeah i just dont get what changed in between this beta and the last two, i mean tech wise. i thought things would continue to be smooth in pve and maybe an improvement in pvp. but now pve was bad for me.
oh well, lets hope someone out there sets up a proxy service. i did it for aion and wow so lets hope we get something like that for eso.
seems like my screen freezes ever so often... anyone else having that problem?

It's a known issue with this build. Changing CPU priority has fixed it for some, and done nothing for others.
It doesn't affect everyone and Zenimax are trying to find out what is causing it.
For me this is the 1st beta I could not update had to use my Mac client which ran very smooth if anyone wants to know.
What changed.. at the start you take your weapon from a table. They cut out that lady snake boss and put in some cook skeleton boss that you just hack at since you only have MAYBE one spell. YAWN!
Its fun just not worth the price.for me
with the new build, it seems like there are more bugs in this beta as well.... especially one that won't let me log out of the game.

I don't know how they will fix all the bugs within the next two - three weeks but we'll see.
also, I wonder how was pvp for everyone? anyone get kicked a lot?
No issues, here, you might want to double check that yu are connected to the EU megaserver if you are asia
The log out is probably the ESC bug
Press . then ESC will work again.
In Canada. ZERO big issues, A CRAZY AMOUNT of quest bugs.
I've heard many times that we're not playing anywhere near a current build so... we'll see how the quest bugs are at launch. But yeah, as much as I enjoy the game... there were more bugged quest lines for Daggerfall than fully working quest lines.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
Both servers are located in NA currently, despite one being labelled EU.
The only people saying that are either people who don't know or are just trying to defend the current state. The current build for this weekend is basically the exact same build on PTS
I'm not going to 'defend' the game, though I am still looking forward to playing it. Are you on the PTS server. Your statement would imply that you are. If so its of greater interest than some making a statement 'just cuz'.
The "escape" issue i just need to talk with some npc and work again.
The quests bugs start to be annoying, was to many imo.
And i experience 2 roll backs after a 2 disconects.
I know its beta, but i was lvl 7, to many bugs for such a low lvl imo.
Anyway, i dont care more about beta, it asnt been a good experience this weekend, seams i need to buy the game and experience the 1st month to see how it goes, oh well....
I didnt play much, to many duty's in rl, and allready see that i need more time to decide if the game is for me or not, I didnt like much about this first 7 lvls, but maybe i didnt get right in to the game yet (playing the TSW atm).
