Im definitely going slow. I love the crafting aspect of games. So in ESO I'll want to make sure I search every bookshelf for those racial crafting books. Plus, if I level too fast, I'll get bored with the game and end up where I am now, with fuck all good to play.

This is just one of those MMO's where you sit back and enjoy the ride! I am in no rush to hit 50 at all, i'll listen to all the quest and read all the books. I am going to have a great time and i know it.
I'll be doing a lot of exploring also, so by the time i'm 50 if Craglorn hasn't released yet i'm not worried because there is already plenty to do in the world of Tamriel. Have you seen Cyrodiil? IT IS HUGE!!! I love it! There is no other MMO that's popular that has a something that's so vast and sprawling like Cyrodiil, it is so gorgeous and because every other game you got cluttered linear mess of a zone holding your hand the whole way. I've just imagined myself mounted up riding through the hills questing, maybe even running into some Pact or AD player....NO /WAVE TO YOU! Cyrodiil just gives me that sandbox vibe and i love it
As fast as my slow, completionist play style will allow me.

you, me, everybody on this forum know damn well, the people that voted "SLOW" are lying through their teeth. come on,,, lets be real here people. you same people said the same thing pre GW2 launch. And we see how that turned out
Mmm..wierd..i dont semember saying anything about gw2 but i guess that as mmoexposed has talked we can call the thread over..he knows all. Even when we lie..
How are you going to do it, fast or slow. Are you going to jump in and gogogo to 50, then try to capitalize, or are you going to read every book and take it easy?
I've been planning on 10-50 in Cyrodiil, but the last day or so, I've been contemplating gritting my teeth and questing to 50 as fast as possible. I feel torn
What are you going to do?
From the numbers, which I laugh at, you will be alone racing to 50 ). I highly doubt it though. You forum of liars!!! =P

maybe some are "lying" but i'm not. i don't power through content in any game, i am also a crafter and that slows leveling down for me a lot as well.
but even if i was the type to rush to max level, i still wouldn't do it in this game if it meant skipping most of the shyshards to do it.
in most mmo's you will gimp your character if you do that but in ESO it will be even worse.

No real reason for people to lie.
I imagine there will be times where I want to knock out a few levels quickly to get that new passive or to be able to use that awesome armor/weapon but I think most people will take their time.
Now how much and how quickly people play varies, but for the most part my bets are on people slowing down to enjoy a game that is made to be enjoyed.

Well Bully, you have less then 127 hours to decide... or more then 126...
I personally will go slowly and enjoy every step of my road, Questing, exploring, cafting, gathering stuff, opening chests and drawers, running around mindlessly in Cyrodill, doing dungeons, joining guilds, socialising with people, roleplaying..
I personally dont see any reason to rush trough content, i play these games to enjoy the content.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
Planning on hitting VR10 before the first month is up - it's gonna suck but when you hate questing it's best to get it done and over with as fast as possible.
If you hate questing, you eventually will get very dissapointed with this game...
i think the fact that the most skillpoints come from PvE will kill much of the game for people disliking questing PvE..
There is 125 hours left till early access.,.. You really need to hurry if you want to cancel your pre order...

This will be the first MMO where I will actually stop and enjoy rather than focus on that level cap. The game feels like it was meant to be played slow and considering there isn't any true end game yet, I think that's another reason.
From my point of view the quests, the decent world and the details make the game what it is.
If you just rush through it you miss that all, it´s okay, but please do not complain about the price and the lack of content. Because there is so much to do in there.
I voted slow but i guess compared to when i played EQ and it took me 2 years to reach level 15 it will be fast. I usually let my crafting needs dictate my leveling.

I already canceled my pre-order a long time ago.
However a guildy got me a copy - so no worries :P
Oh and you forgot this little thing called Cyrodiil - no questing required there, I love it
As far as "eventually disappointed" - I am already disappointed in PvE in ESO (it sucks for me) - but AvA is exceptional, it's amazing.
Nope, i did not forget about cyrodiill
pvp ers in general want to maximize their skillpoints for the best possible build and most flexibillity... ( i can imagine using different setups for group/zerg/solo in PvP). This will require you to do most of the PvE content...
sadly when hardcore PvP players realise this, they will start whining how unjust the system is to them... This is like a self fulfilling profecy to any experienced MMO veteran, the whining will come.. And it will be extremely loud..
So i just might tell every PvP only player that they have 122 hours left before early acces to realise this..

I'll read every book, explore every cliff, vale or mountain, craft a lot and do some pvp as well. This is the best point in ESO for me. Its a damn fu... slow RPG....i've been waiting for this since years. No need to get VR10 before 2015
The total amount of work put into end game by the devs is about 10%, TESO may be somewhat more than that for a couple of reasons, so lets say 15%. Am I going to run through 85% of the content just to get to the 15% end game. NO.

FOR THE COVENANT!
ps.. I am so ready just to get lost in this game
Im going to take my time and enjoy the world (game).
I have played all the Elder Scrolls (RPG) games since Arena and Ive never completed the main quest in any of them.
Never.
And not once have I felt that Ive cheated myself out of a great game experience.

i agree with you, Cacique. And that applies to every single game i play. The way rpgs and progression games are meant to be played.
