You can go pure melee with a number of classes by picking different weapons and focusing more on the weapon skills than the class skills. Nightblade and DragonKnight both have strong melee options with melee weapons.
Progression in this game feels very different than other games I have played. Skill progression doesn't feel like trait lines they are different than RFT trees and even the way you advance skill's in TSW feels different.
They actually had a 5th class called Warden, but it was removed, as it is felt the less classes the more freedom you have if the ones remaining have a full set of role options. It's been argued there shouldn't be any, as the class skills are more like special skill sets like vampire or werewolf, and Skyrim player are used to no classes. If you want pure melee you can make one from gear, weapon and armor upgrade type.

I'll have to find it, but I thought I saw a dev say that in the near future they won't focus on bringing in a new class, but they may look at more options for the existing classes. However, as was stated above, you can certainly make a melee focused character rather easily. The Nightblade and Dragonknight lend themselves to it very well. However, there are melee focused builds for the Sorcerer and the Templar floating around as well.

I don't really understand why they decided lock you into one of the 4 classes right at creation -- rather than say, give you the ability to play any of them on one character; you just wouldn't be able to mix/match said classes skill lines with one another. I'd prefer to do everything on one character, and it's a drag trying to decide on which class to go with, knowing that you might regret it down the road.
I believe there will not be new classes. It will just be new skill lines so you can make your own class.
The Thieves guild line will be coming. That should give more shadow or sneaking ability. The Dark Brotherhood should bring more assassination skills. There are many options for more skill lines, including one that can increase melee at some point.
I just don't think a new class is what is needed. They are just templates to get you going. Yes they have some unique skills, but who's to say that down the road, the new skill lines won't be better?

There is no plans form Zenimax currently, at least thats what been said last time. And personaly i hope they never make another. They should just be adding skill lines to already existing classes. And if you want pure melle, nightblade or dragonknight where you put more on the hotbar from your weapon choice would make it a pure melle...
night blade and the dragon knight are not melee there hybrid are you saying you can be viable in pvp with only putting points in to a two handed weapons.
I mean dont you use mana for everything and there is no stamina bar

No you don't use "mana" (called magicka here) for everything and yes there is a stamina bar.
I would suggest doing some very basic research before you start dreaming up new classes.
All the skills you can train in all the melee weapon and bow lines as well as the fighter's guild's lines use stamina, not magicka.

You could just add all your points to Stam for increased damage and crit with melee/bow. Yes there is a stamina bar, you use it for melee/bow skills and block/dodge/interrupt.
All class skills use magicka, but to go melee, you will be going with stam weapon skills over class skills.

I think you're confused.
Melee has nothing to do with resource type. It has to do with distance between your character and the thing they're hitting.
"Melee generally refers to disorganized close combat involving a group of fighters." Wikipedia isn't always right, but it is in this case.
So if you make a melee character and use mana to use abilities, that doesn't make you a hybrid, nor does it take away your melee status.
If you're having a mental block because you want your "shadowstep" (teleport strike) to use stamina instead of magicka and feel that using magicka makes you a hybrid, you'll have to build a bridge and get over it.
Maybe you can just play a melee class and imagine the word "Magicka" is replaced with the word "Power "and there you go.
they should concentrate on new skilltrees and expanding current skilltrees

Just wanted to add that not all magicka abilities are the same. Class melee skills (with some exceptions) are still melee in effect along with what mechanics they use for mitigation, crit, etc. Vids have shown that many melee abilities fueled by magicak basically work the same as stamina melee skills. They use melee crit and mitigate against armor and there may be more similarities. Some also gain benefit from attacking out of stealth. The only real difference of what resource they use.
So even if you are a NB or DK using several class abilities using magicka you can still use melee weapons and raise the associated stats to increase damage that will benefit the melee style class skills. Some class abilities act like magic (have no stealth bonus and mitigate against spell resistance) while others melee (use melee mechanics for resolution) despite being fueled by magicka.
Players have to start wrapping their heads around how the mechanics actually work instead of being hung up on what resource a skill uses. Class melee abilities act just like melee in most cases but simply are fueled by magicka. Magic style abilities may use the same resource but a resolved completely different. You can therefore still make a 100% melee character with the ONLY caveat being you use both resource pools and I cannot imagine why one would only want to use stamina. Magicka is simply a bonus pool to use to supplement stamina but you can still be effectively 100% melee. Stat overcharge exists to allow progression in both resources easily but you can still focus your build entirely to melee or magic or mix.
Skill using magicka is NOT the definition of what magic is in this game. It is what mechanics the skill uses to resolve combat. Magicka fueled abilities therefore can be magic or melee and you can choose what you want to use.
I told a friend this before because he was complaining about classes. You can totally play your character and ignore your class altogether. He joined me and beta and actually loved not putting any points into his class.
Go down a couple of weapon trees. Bar 1 - duel wield. Bar 2 - 2h. Or Bow and 1h. Build your stamina and you have full mele. Also some of those class skills that use magicka are also mele, but damage won't be dependent on how much stamina you have.

I am still not sure where I am going to put my attribute points. I will mainly go Magicka, but the soft cap is there for a reason.
I see many PTS long term beta testers with all points in Magicka or All points in Stamina for the bow. Then you see their stats and they are past the soft cap. I would like to know if trying to balance Stam and Magicka once you reach 50 and beyond is worth it or if just going full stat regardless of the cap is better overall.
I don't know if anyone knows yet, but say you put 30/20 or 40/10 then adjust with gear choice. To just stay under the cap or to reach the cap point on one and get the other as high as possible.
And I understand the above, but if a player wants to go mostly bow skills, then Stam would be the one to maximize. Using Magicka for utility class or skill line skills.

The only thing I can add is: Sorcerers should have other elemental skill lines added besides shock. They are described as master of the elements after all >_>
I only played at low level so have not personal experience with overcharge at vet levels. A recent video explained that your stat distribution is more likely something you will match with what gear you wear as some gear is more flexible with stats and if you can reach overcharge through gear and that is all you want in those stats then you may still choose to dump points into something other than health.
I highly doubt builds dedicated to a role like healing or DPS in pve will go all health. Even a few % bonus to output is worth the overcharge in min/max situations.

Whether they have new classes or not is unknown. However, given that the game's design basically revolves around class skills using the magicka pool to power them, chances are that even if they were to add the "Super Melee Meleetastic Meleer" class, chances are that all those melee abilities would still use the magicka pool.
