Is it just me or is everyone also finding legendaries all the time? I made a Crusader and just reached Act 4, but I've already found like 7 legendaries... Not very legendary if they drop that often. Is it like this at higher levels too?
7 is a lot for just reaching act 4, but not unheard of. Since you can no longer trade legendaries, you have to actually get them yourself. They intend for the player to get a legendary around once every 60-90 minutes.
For me most of the legendary items are useless so it's not to big a deal. Also you can't trade or sell them which means there is a good chance you will never find that certain item you were hoping for. I have mixed feelings on that.

I don't care for the mentality of the gamers that play Diablo anymore nor do I have much tolerance for the mentality of gamers in general these days.
I was playing with a friend "I use the term loosely" and he got 5 legendaries within about an hours time, we played another 30 minutes and he started complaining that nothing was dropping and said "screw this game" not enough good stuff drops and went back to play WoW......sigh, it's like Diablo is a novelty to these people, they just want everything right away.
Yes I think that they are dropping too much and I pray for the day that Blizzard gets bent over by these stooge gamers and gets left high and dry for listening to a casual fan base. Loot needed to be increased but not by this much, now they are just feeding the greedy gamers who are never happy.
Whatever, add another notch to my why I don't care belt.
Seems like a catch 22 to me. People are complain if they drop to much or if they don't drop enough. Considering how the game is now structured, this is how it needs to be.
some of the legendary weapons are pretty horrible at least the leveling ones. Ive found 4 weapons while leveling my new crusader and each one of them wouldnt even replace my rare yellow flail from the two levels before etc. I think they are shoved down your face for the crafting material honestly as most of them are pretty much garbage.
Not 5 hours ago there was a post lamenting the drop rate of legendary items was too scarce, ok in specific he was saying for non RoS users was too scarce, but was anyway complaining legendary items never drop... Now I read a post in which someone says they drop too much.
Isn't getting a bit ridiculous?
I am not talking in specific of the OP, nothing against him , everybody have the right of his opinion, I am posting here because I noticed the post and was a bit baffled.
I found 4 legendary weapons in total leveling through the first three acts, each being a major upgrade over my previous weapon. So far all legendaries I've found have been significant upgrades.

Well given the replies so far it seems legendaries are pretty common. Maybe that poster was just really unlucky or trolling?
Playing I find some legendaries, but I can't say I am showered in them, nor that I never find them, to me feel about right, some days I am more in luck than others but never felt like "Oh my god no, here another legendary item" at least so far.
I suppose using objects that raise the chance to find one have a big impact.
have you tried crafting your weapons the rare yellow ones? most of those leveling will be better than the legendary weapons you find. Armor is a little bit better but Ive junked so many weapons for crafting mats leveling up my crusader because rare yellows I could craft on a rank 10 blacksmith was just far better. I think something is way out of whack with blizzards numbers as a legendary should be not only better in damage and stats but also have a little more bang than a yellow IMO. Blizzard is always clueless after an expansions release though, in about 2 or 3 months it will be working properly.
Eventually you will hit a wall and you'll think Legendaries do not come enough because they never seem to be an upgrade. For now, enjoy the flow of them
I don't think it is an issue. Not all legendaries are upgrades ... i found quite a few not even as good as a yellow (even when enchanting is considered).
And you can savage them into useful mats (particularly for enchantment). So I don't feel the drop rate is too high.
I read in the loot 2.0 notes that during your FIRST play through with a character, you are guaranteed to drop legendaries on act bosses. That could explain some of it.
"Buffed Legendary drop rates.
Guaranteed legendary drops for a characters' first kill on each Act Boss. (Below lvl 60.)
A guaranteed legendary drop from Diablo after Reset Quests and a full play through."
Legendary items seem to drop at a decent rate... I'm more interested in greens! The set pieces have NOT been dropping for me that well, I've gotten one piece on my 70 Barb, and no love on my WD.
I got 3 today on my 70 Crusader in only 2 bounties within an hour, crazy luck...
One was a Salvage
One was an instant Equip
One was Equip after Enchanting (got a sweet roll too, good thing I got the material from that salvage!)
Caused me to swap a skill out too, good fun
I only have 3 legendaries on my 70 Crusader, 1 green set piece, the rest are all level 70 rares and I'm easily punishing Master solo and will try Torment 1 bounties/rift solo very soon.

That is very nice .. i have yet to get a green set piece

This is my experience, exactly. I have had one set recipe drop for level 55 characters and that is it. I have found quite a few legendaries but very few of them are any good. I find too that rares are quite often better. I am only using one legendary on my level 70 Wizard. All of the rest are rares.

Rares can be quite good particularly with enchantment.
I'm up to 5 legos of various badassery and a set piece. The rest are 70 rares. Finally got all my crafters up to level 12, so I'm farming/saving the mats to craft a legendary helm.
Solo farming Torment 1 bounties/rifts, do T2 or T3 in groups.
I think I'm at like 325k damage, 8+ million toughness, 16k healing on the character sheet, but w/ passives and gear effects on skills and damage types etc. I'm pretty much untouchable in T1...
except for damn Arcane affix- still so brutal if you get caught with Arcane + Waller or something your mobility/survivability is on cooldown!

First I found was actually Nagelring in Act 1 which adds 50 magic find, so that might explain my luck.

That story made me sad.

Blues seem kind of pointless now, which is kind of sad since they still drop.
Not really. You need to savage blues for the mats ... lots of leg crafting + enchanting uses it.

Playing MUDs and MMOs since 1994.
Rares can be quite good particularly with enchantment.
Just keep playing, luck catches up eventually.
