some ppls are already max lvl

It only took 17 hours and 34 minutes to Jake Shelton, member of our War Legend Guild, to reach the level 50 with his Sorcerer on The Elder Scrolls Online.

    How does this ever surprise anyone? Content locusts + beta (learning zones and quests beforehand) = max lvl....you have to rush through the game to do it. I was playing from launch at 6:30 am till I went to sleep at 11:30 pm and I got almost to lvl 13...but of course I was leveling crafting, hunting sky shards, and listening to the quest text so maybe that's why...but hey that stuff doesn't interest done people I guess, they want to be emperor I bet

    You get that in all games. It's a sport and a facet some people enjoy a lot, just like there are dedicated PvE'ers, PvP'ers, roleplayers, crafters, and so on. I don't know if there are "World First" announcements and/or titles in ESO but there are in some games I have played.

    I've gotten to level 13 with over 12 overs played, so roughly spent an hour a level. Of course there are people that ran through the quests, although 50 surprises me quite a bit.

    Kind of hard to believe and I hope there aren't any exp exploits in game.

    How ? have some links to show this? I ask this because, with the XP nerfs (everyone saying XP is far too low) how is that possible? Especially considering how much time one single quest can take before you're rewarded with the XP. It's either A: this isn't true, or B: XP isn't as bad a s people were saying. It's barely been 24 hrs since servers came up for EA.

    Hmm,, I needed about 10hrs for 8 levels. Ok, I leveled crafting and took a look at many corners, even did some treasure map hunting without spoilers. But lvl 50 in a day ? Got a screenshot ? Maybe I am getting too old  (and slow) for this shit. ;)

    Agree, that's something you ll find in many games, but in less than 24 hours? LoL

    Btw I would like to see some screenshot or a link to believe it.

    I also took 10 hours to get to level 8. But I'm playing veeeryyy slow, looting everything, enjoying environment, listing conversations....great fun!

    In the beta I rushed and it indeed takes only a few hours to get to 10+

    They probably abused some bugs they found in beta...  Is that a ban able offence?

     

    less then 24 hours seems virtually impossible to reach 50...

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    So it's B then... A quote from that discussion..

    "Questing is slow, you get a nice bunch of EXP at the end of the quest which makes it seem like it's not slow, but you could have gotten the same XP in 10-20 mob kills without all that running around."

    Exactly what I was asking about when those  XP discussions were going on. Looks like I may have been right. Apparently according to the chat from the channel, what they did was AOE down large groups of MOBS.

    No way in hell, i still want to see proof. The exp is really low in this game. Took me around 9 hours to reach 10. Quests are long and mob experience is terrible. I seriously doubt the OPs claims.

    Because now they are heroes they got interviewed by the media, here is their statement:

     

    "this game is boring, there´s nothing to do. It took me 3 days to max lvl and i saw everything. There´s no story in it, it´s just like every other MMO. The game is not worth a sub maybe i look at it again when it´s f2p. As i am the reference to every serious MMO player please sign my petition for an article in the constitutions of every state which says that MMOs have to be F2P. Also the UNO has to declare that!"

    Its mainly the pvpers that are rushing  to max lvl.

    Wow I played like all day yesterday and only got to level 7.. maybe because I played how the game should be played, explored and actually enjoyed it.  It doesn't really surprise me though to be honest, these guys were probably in all the betas knew all the content beforehand.. to each his own, but rushing to max level is not fun IMO.
