Has anyone else had this problem? I purchased the Digital Imperial Edition from Gamefly.
I made a post about it on Redit and it seems other people are having this issue to. The idiot who replied was not serious about my problem at all. I paid about 65-70$ for this, there was a promo-code to pay less on gamefly for the Imperial Edition, what a damn waste of money if they can't even fix my problem. Stupid fools need to be sued if they can't fix it soon. I better get a reply within this week.
I am able to login the ESO website but ingame it keeps saying I have invalid login information. I changed my password and that still didn't work. Here is the response I get from Zenimax.

Hi, I pre-ordered the digital imperial edition from gamefly. The billing history on my account on the site says I have the 5 days early access and I have already put in that key for it. My account login works on the site but when I try it ingame it says "login error, information incorrect, please try again". Nothing works at all, I tried changing my password and it still doesn't work. Can you please fix this? My account name is ###

but a serious complaint requires a serious answer.
they should change their semi role play attitude in their response
that just doesnt work well, when people complain are dissatisfied with something and mostly angry
might work for kids, but not in the grownup world. MMOs are serious buiseness.

Bah that stupid 5 day 3 day code thing, they really messed up. Just go to ebay and pay 5 bucks and you get the code that works. I tried for 6 hours to get game stop and zenimax to give me one. Game stop told me they ran out lol, they even sent me a made up code telling me it was one lol. Then you can atleast play for a day early Unless of course they ran out to lol.
Any ways if you cant get in by the 3 day early thing, send me a message I have a extra code that game stop gave me, telling me that they were 5 day codes.

I contacted their support regarding it yesterday, wanted to make sure that I could log in even though it said that.
Customer support said that it says login error wrong username password if you do not have 5 day headstart, or have no access to play the game.
Hopefully, Mine will stop saying it from tomorrow.

Bet you have a 3 day code instead of a 5 day. In which case Gamefly would be the issue.
There's another issue for those of us who were in PTS.
Despite the fact that on the ESO FAQ it says you won't need to download another client, you actually will.
The ESO launcher just says "Elder Scrolls" - no ability to select which server you're trying to log onto. In the launcher if you click on the tiny Orobouros icon theres a checkbox for "Show Test Environment" or some such.
Click that and you will have the ability to select which server you want to login to.
In my case it meant a re-download and re-patch of the client, so about a ~16 hour wait time.

Wrong. I patched up from the beta client. Had no issues.

People allready have missed the chance to get the names for their characters they were after most likely.
+whatever reasons they had for a headstart.

what does Gamefly say and I always buy directly from the game company but you got a discount probably.
I got scammed last week by bogabids for 50$ now I will not buy online any more just in a gaming shop,my game time too.
I played the beta for 2moths and loaded the client from the only server then was US and now you can choose between US and EU but for EU you have to load again I don't know why but they said you can play and create characters in both servers so I am staying with US and I know its one server"megaserver".
Better in US people speak English in EU its all languages.
ps.have you seen how pretty the girl characters look in ESO if they look like that in real life ill make a move.
He isn't trying to insult you, I've talked with ZOS on different occasions through customer service and twitter and they always kind of talk funny like that.
He probably literally can't do anything to help you in his department is all.
I have plenty of guildies who patched from the weekend betas with no issue, it was only the guys who were actually in the PTS that had the issue of 2 different clients. (And in my case, 2 different passwords)
I'll post ss of the 2 different client locations when I get home if you feel it necessary.

I don't think I was scammed. I am mad enough that I cannot play during the early access but my problem better be resolved by launch day.
To me, the guy who replied was very nice and tried to be helpful.
Not sure why you're upset. Posting here just to moan about it is not helping you.
So far their support has been polite and helpfull... i`m not into that roleplay thing they do but i can live with it as long as they actually help. I was amazed they responded so fast considering they must get a lot of requests right now...
