I asked for a phone call this morning and it said my wait was 29 minutes. I honestly thought that was pretty decent, filled out the form, clicked submit. Went back to reading the forums. Literally like 5 minutes later my phone is ringing.
Rob from customer support: amazing customer service, not only did he answer my questions but he actually had a personality. I don't think I've had such a good experience with customer service from an MMO before. Answered my immediate concern: early access and bonus items if I didn't order from ESO directly.
This experience was so refreshing and different from the usual "we can't help you but please support our game anyway" mentality that many other MMOs have been known to reply with that I had to post.
I had dealing with CS twice in the past month. And both times were pleasant and so refreshing. I think one's reaction to any CS person is how "their personal attitude" at the time of the encounter.
I had to deal with SWTOR customer service and they to did a good job. Even though a lot of people said it was the worst.
Same with Trion and Funcom.
I agree, they handled my refund very quickly.
