For a week now I haven't been able to chat with anyone in ESO. There are many other major bugs and issues, but this is by far the most annoying out of all of them.
Our guild has 30 people in it but we can't use the guild bank, it's not even there.
They made me set up a credit card to continue playing what I already paid for, yes that's right Zenimax held the money I gave to them in good faith as randsom to get my subscription!!!
Quests are phased or broken.
I get DC'd every 30 minutes or less.
The game stopped working all together several times, work around spend an hour uninstalling an re--downloading it from scratch!! But hey, even that was only temporary as a fix.
In short Zenimax is a great big fraud. Don't expect to get anything else in the future.
Support? What fucking support? There is no support. There is a canned email response. I spent over an hour hanging on the phone trying to get into a live person today and it finally hung up on me.

Well if the OP is having all these problems, it's not just a small issue is it?
Also 12hour downtime and people logging into other people's accounts will be a stigma on the pre-launch.
I can understand those affected by it to be distraught, but those who weren't to be cool about it.
I remember other companies needing a CC but I don't remember any of them charging the full amount for the NEXT month like some people claim Zenimax did.

No it was a bug from Zenimax's side... nothing to do with players.
People would get disconnected, then log in back in and find themselves in other people's accounts.
Some people lost all the characters.
Not sure if they got them back or whatever.. I presume they did.

I'm still unable to use any form of in game communication.. it's a singler player game that is unplayable on any social lvl at this point.
Support is only there to say "sorry you are feeling that way Mr. hand"., sorrry your game doesn't work, Mr. hand"...
They should call it Pacify Support.
I've been on hold three times now first time 2 and 1/2 hours, then disconnected, then four hours got ireland support.. they coulnt do or see anything with my account. Must be temporary support.
One guy said it had to do with gold spammers, but i'm not a gold spammer. Sincerely, I think I'm getting griefed by an admin.
You should try to play the game through VPN and see how that goes. I do have some problem with connection, but VPN fixed all that problem. ESO has a strange thing going with their networking which affect most shared router such as in workplace, university, or apartment complex, and some ISP.
