"While I sometimes tire of racing my horse across huge expanses of land every time I die, I have to admit that it keeps me from getting too reckless and it generally keeps players from simply tossing endless waves of bodies at a keep's walls. It forces players to work together in groups to make coordinated attacks on specific walls and wait for key opportunities."
That was enough for me as a Dark Age of Camelot fan to say yes to this title....

My full, scored review should be along by the end of the week, but I believe the real meat of my impressions is on this and the preceding pages. They should give you a good idea of whether or not you want to jump into ZeniMax Online's take on one of gaming's most beloved franchises, and whether it's the right game for you. As I've said again and again to those of you who've contacted me on Twitter, it's best to approach The Elder Scrolls Online as an MMORPG first and an Elder Scrolls Game second. It satisfies many demands for both crowds, but it's important to remember that its appeal is mainly geared toward the former camp. And that, as I've learned over the past couple of weeks, isn't necessarily a bad thing.
