    Happy Birthday, TERA :)

Can't wait to try out the new reaper class.

For a game that touted its combat as its best feature, I remain disappointed.  Having said that, the game is not "bad", just not for me seeing as I value good combat over most everything else (or at least, combat that feels good to me - before anyone gets irate lol).  However, it's always a good sign for an MMO to not only last amongst the critics, but thrive too.  Wtg, TERA.

I find myself going back to this one. Every time I THINK I found the next big thing.

While I never liked the game myself, it is good to see another F2P MMO doing well and maybe some other P2P MMO's could learn a thing or two from them. Well done :)

TERA have the best MMO graphics and combat. But the quests are boring.

Wonder how the game is doing in Europe.Loved the combat. Was too much of a grindfest though. Now if they changed that I may pop back but I don't fancy killing 50 million mobs to get to end game.

I tried this game twice, and found it lacking both times.

Game runs horrible these days. Same old bugs and fuck ups all over the place. I uninstalled.

Sadly, TERA is a classic example of a good game, that was pushed out too soon, and has such a small staff that they really can't afford to do the game justice.

Case in point is the new reaper class.  Its elin only... Now while that may be the Koreans favorite class (lets not go there... ^^), its an example of the limits that a small staff imposes on production.

I quite enjoyed the game (I have four 60's, lancer, slayer, warrior, and zerker), mainly for the combat system.  Add in the established fact that players in NA TERA are at best second class citizens, and it adds up to a game that quite sadly misses its full potential.

Yeah I really like the combat and style of tera but it's just missing that thing that keeps you long term. I've also lvl'd 4 60s but I've never been able to get into end game.

It's a game I want to love more than I really do.

Its also a game that was never going to have wide appeal in the west.

That art style just doesnt have a wide appeal.  the questing is brutally bad.  I know some people love the combat system, but its just as repetitive as any other game once the newness wears off and has less depth to it than most games.  And its twitch combat, heavy PvP lean, and mature rating was sure to draw in a sketchy at best community.  not saying mature players dont enjoy these sort of things, but they do tend to attract a greater asshat ratio than other games.

Love Tera. One of if not the best F2P on the market, truly alot free players can do. If I have one gripe I wish they would address though it is the UI. The default User Interface is just terrible and clumsy, it needs to be streamlined, it's a pretty big turnoff for new players.

Happy Birthday Tera! playing since beta and still having fun. Looking forward to the Reaper!

Only thing that Tera really lacks is updates to performance issues possible 64 bit client something that runs a lot better on newer computers they always update the game but never optimizations ETC to make the game run better on newer GPU's and graphics drivers only thing i hate about the game is it has horrible performance big time on high end gaming computers. It needs optimization fixes

I've been playing Tera a lot lately. While the questing is incredibly bland, the combat is top notch. It's so good that I've been able to ignore the more ridiculous races like Elin and Popori, among other aesthetic issues I have with the game. That's saying something too because I generally hate all things even remotely resembling anime.

Because of TERA, I can't play GW2 without action combat mod. GG En Masse! Will see you again when Reaper comes out! ;)

    Cheers.

Great game but they haven't really added content in about a year, besides one battleground with giant babies in diapers.  Lol....

That's my issue with Tera, I don't want to do raids ad nauseum or the two battle grounds over and over again.

I think they have some sort of faction pvp (?) that might be worth checking out.

Tera is the only game I've ever played that I absolutely loved the combat.

Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

Goodjob on going on strong for 2 years now, I quit long time ago and most likely will not come back. Tera now seems to have a lot of new content and many new things to do now. New class revealed even if it is Elin only. Best of luck to the company

First off congrats to Tera on two years. Played for a long time and enjoyed the time I played..

If Tera revamped its questing and repetition that lead to endgame, this game would EASILY be the MMORPG on the market. If a game had Tera's combat and Rift's flexible leveling system (Tons of different quests, Instant Adventures, mulitple dailies, PvP) this game would rule all.

    Anywho, happy 2nd Tera!

I should try this. I just hope they will make some kind of megaserver technology for this game also. its not fun to walk around alone.

Artstyle and questing is good and so is combat. But ultimately it's a quest grinder which is cool if that's what you want. Might look at the new class but I'm expecting pretty much the same experience as to when I stopped playing a year and ahalf ago.
