Nothing about those SS's strike me as exceptional. Or even mildly interesting. They could be old TSW shots and I probably wouldn't have known otherwise.

Even if another got this game, it would years and years.
I think it looks pretty good. Probably eat up my PC and spit it out at this point. *sigh* . I need to upgrade again.
I hope to play at some point. Hopefully it will be an actual "World" of Darkness and not a "Large quantity of instanced sections of streets and scenery with invisible walls" of Darkness.

I haven't read everything yet (it's 33 pages!) but it describes the whole game system !
The class (Tremere, Ventrue, Toreador etc.), the screen creation (human or vampire), the game stats (Humanity, Vitae, Prestige...), the ingame zones, the politics, the broods, the hunting grounds etc. etc !
Amazing how they spent all this time on DUST (who will remember this game in 5 years?) but trash WoDO
I must admit i thought the game was way *less* developed, that CCP were still on the drawing board, brainstorming ideas and stuff. I didn't expect them to have a fully playable demo with so much details.

That's the trick: it may *looks* like TSW and i agree the gfx (probably animations too) aren't the best, but what's truly important is the sandbox approach. This game was meant to be radicaly different from everything previously released ! It wasn't about killing stuff to level and then raid or pvp. It was about politics and influence and evil twists and treasons between players to establish their power. It's Game of Thrones but in punk-gothic cities full of vampires and dark magic !
I could only imagine players from the Sabbat planning some advanced plots to take control of a Camarilla-controled zone, maybe trying to seduce the Prince's friends so they'll betrayed him...
*sigh*

I know, right! If they are going to have a game in it's alpha stage, it should be polished and have the best graphics possible. Alpha is supposed to be the best of the best! Like the alpha male walking around strutting his stuff.

Wow this game looked really good! Its a damm shame they canned it after doing all this work on it. It also saddens me alot cause this was the one MMO I wanted to play more then any other. Its also crazy that they have this huge market for a sandbox vampire MMO that NOBODY has ever done before, and people keep churrning out the same space or fantasy BS we have had to endure for almost 15 years. CCP, your a bunch of morons, I mean this would have been your flagship game, but you wanted to keep putting money into Eve when Chris Roberts is releasing Star Citizen this year. There is another space MMO releasing this year as well, but I cannot remember the name of it. Watch CCP go bankrupt in the next few years mark my words.
