Actually really awesome, constructive feedback. Brought up a lot of things I haven't heard much about. Folks, that's how you give constructive criticism.
Its a good read and I like such posts with contructive critic aswell.
Some things mentioned in pvp are probably before the vampire nerf and I think when he mentioned his sorcerer and mist form it is probably a L2P issue and most players are still learning.
This video shows how you counter mist form, at least in certain situations:
He thinks like a power gamer, that wants to be more powerfull
I personally think the softcap (it is a softcap you know) is a really good thing for ballancing unballanced builds.. Ballance my friends is very important in a game... and it not being a hardcap but a softcap saves the day....
Not putting points in a softcapped stat is a stupid idea... Adding everything in magicka regeneration is still a good idea for healers, despite the softcap

Every time I hear people saying to stop at softcap I think of making a character in Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2.
Min-Maxxers would hemorrhage an artery if you told them it was best to have a character with all skills at 13 so you wouldn't go much past the 'softcap'.
The above is my personal opinion. Anyone displaying a view contrary to my opinion is obviously WRONG and should STHU. (neener neener)

Before:
"Damn what could I do with those 15 points ? Maybe put them in magicka, or maybe an hybrid between magicka and stamina. Wait, maybe I could try to do a full stamina with some points in magicka for some spell, but I also need some health, I should put some points there"
After:
"So, I have those 15 points. I'll try to put 10 in magi... damn, softcap reached after 5 points, well, I'll spend the rest in healt... softcap reached, well I guess I'll spend the rest in stamina"
Of course, it is still possible to put points on a softcapped stat, but then why put a softcap first ? The system only advantages people who play hybrides, instead of giving the chance for over-specialized people to do something.
I love the game as well, and am not at those high levels yet, but that was a great read. If what he says is true and those points discussed are indeed an issue at end-game, they definitely need to be reworked for the sake of its longevity. Hope you're listening, Zenimax!
Jesus, i only have two chars at level 15.. Maybe 40 hours combined game time..
Dont these people have jobs? girlfriends? or lives?
Some guy in my guild reported his /played time was 318 hours. The games been out what, 35 days? thats 9 hours a day playing ESO. :x
I think the lack of the fact they have lives is more of an alarming issue here, not the fact zenimax havent perfected their mmorpg 35 days after release.

Thing is, either way character progression is going to become linear.
If people specialize, several classes become the be all and end all, no one will hybrid.

If they wanted the leveling experience to last longer they should have scaled the difficulty differently in the 1-50 zones. Adding the other alliance zones was a poor band-aid.
Unfortunately, that is not the kind of change you can make at this point. Too many people in the middle of leveling 1-50 and too many people who have already invested a lot of time in the VR content.
I love the things he said, it's all true and everything he said I experienced myself. I love the game aswell, some might even think i am a fanboy reading my older posts, I can pvp the whole day long, without loosing fun.
But Zenimax uses some reallllly strange mechanics, weapon damage, does not really affect the class skills. Means everyone just plays in shield and sword, since shield spells are totally overpowered. If the player gets his magicka maxed, his class damage will be maxed aswell. So don't wonder if you enter cyrondil and everyone has a shield equipped.
They need to get rid of that system as soon as possible, or revamp all weapon line skills.
Well what ever there are still some cool players not playing in shield and sword and are awesome pvpers, really fun to play against these.

Why do people comment on what lvl someone is or how long they played? What does it matter to u? I could understand if maybe we was talking about lack of content but he's not.
Softcaps suck, why can't I get my XXX stat/score/etc up higher so I can "differentiate" (which I read as "dominate") from the next guy. But my class is totally OP, and there is a lot of class imbalance.
So on one hand, he's torqued because he can't force an imbalance because of stats, and he's torqued because there is an imbalance because of class. I can understand the points, both are valid points, but I found it just a bit ironic to be arguing both at the same time.
It should be obvious to anyone who plays by now that their way of doing beta: 24/7 exclusive small group + weekend stress tests, didn't work all that well.
And to those of you who have been following the game's development for a while... remember those videos shortly after the NDA lift of fire staff DKs demolishing whole groups with their standard ultimate and staff AOE? Where were the vampire videos using bat swarm and mist form for even better results? I didn't see any back then, did you?
Obviously what became the #1 PVP problem within weeks of launch was either a) not tested at all by the PTS testers or b) they tested it and kept the OP'd vamp builds secret for their own use. Either way a pretty good indicator of how much they needed a 24/7 open beta for at least a couple of weeks.
The cynic would say that we are currently doing that much needed open beta, and that's not far from the truth.
Having said that...
Like most internet posters, the guy on Reddit does exaggerate. I'm VR5 myself and PVP almost every day... I have killed many vampires and many VR10s and have been killed by well organized groups of players in their 30s and 40s. It's not as black and white and hopeless as he makes it sound.
Yes, there are balancing problems still that need addressing. But Cyrodiil is also very playable and a lot of fun in its current state.

Cross faction in the same pvp campaign is not possible as far i know, you need a different account.

A very informative read. Both for potential players presently on the fence and players just starting out their serious PvP career.
All I really got out of it:
