my thoughts exactly, seobetter
no really, he makes some valid points. Especially that one about kantor berita strategis di barak dan (i believe it might be something about a singer named Berita who made a song about Don Barak).
I had that issue on windows 8, it was because you need to click "run anyway" on the thing that pops up... Something about it being unsigned or something.
You were right, toeol, but now I get the msg "can't set up local server" instead. Hehe...
Checking the logs it looks like it wants to do something on drive C, which is my boot drive, rather than drive E where I have the game installed. Might be why it doesn't work properly.
Not sure how to fix that though, and I still can't get to the game's forums.
I'm assuming you're trying to get to the forums here, but now all of the sudden it's not loading for me either oddly enough. It might have to do with the service provider for the forum. Prior to writing the article I did drop on by, so it does exist one way or another =P
Sorry that you're having problems though. If the forum does end up working, like I mentioned, there's one developer that's been responding to a lot of the threads. So I could see him helping solve your problem. I wish I knew better to help you myself!
While the preview was a whole lot of just detailing the game, I definitely think it was fun. I feel like at the current state, which is alpha. I was able to experience most of it within say two hours. If the team follows up on some of the cool features and ideas I've read up on, I could find myself putting more than enough time into to get a bang for my buck. What makes me interested in the game is the idea of building my own space station (idea I saw on their forum), spreading my territory, joining each faction to see how their story line plays out, and just getting a badass ship to take down the alien faction. From what I played I didn't get the opportunity to play with anyone and unfortunately as the game isn't well known, I can't see there being several servers with hundreds of players. This is something I could convince a few buddies to play with me or find people on the forum to play with. Which could also be a fun experience with a small tight knit community.
Where there's a game, there's a player, I'm that player.
