Personally I like Wildstar better. It just seems to be my kind of game, and I plan on playing it for the long haul. The Elder Scrolls Online wasn't exactly my cup of tea, however I did not play it all that much so I did not fully explore the game by any means.
I have played Wildstar to level 20. The start is kind of slow but from level 15 and on it began to pick up for me. I played it to level 20 so I could experience what a dungeon was like, and it surpassed my expectations by quite a lot. I like pretty much everything about this game that I have experienced so far and I am really looking forward to raiding (I have never truly raided before but I am going to give it a shot.).
See you guys in Wildstar!
I am going with the I dislike both option.
if Wildstar had a decent story I would be a little more inclined to play it...or if it had more skills, both active and passive I would play it because the combat is paced wonderfully. But to me it feels more like a console game. I require more combat options otherwise it doesn't feel like a real MMO to me and I will become bored fast.

Wildstar makes such a bad initial impression, i started regreting my pre-order, i couldin't quit the beta cause i was playing with a few friends, whom i draged along.......
AND THEN we started leveling up and reached our first dungeon and really we were all really impressed, everything starts to come together and combat being one of them.
I was wanting to refund my preorder and buy archeage alpha (the game i'm really really looking forward to) , but since its launch is still far from sight, wild start wil do till then, or who knows even more.
ESO is such a soul destroying game. WildStar has potential but given its atrocious performance is not at all enjoyable to play for me. I'm going to vote neither. At least for now - Carbine says they will be working on adressing the performance problems until launch and beyond. Sticking with Skyrim for now for my open world RPG fix.
At what level did you get to the first dungeon?

Lvl 20 , i did the exiles one stormtalon lair spell check , apprently the dominion dungeons are different ?
the telegraph dodging was the thing that really got me all up and about, it kept us on our toes, cause if not death came very swift and frequent , i'm not a very good player, my attention span varies :X but eventually i got the hang of it. though i think this was an easier dungeon and difficulty will only scale higher ? The dungeon felt spacious too for me.
I fear the newbies might piss of the elites while puging Q_Q
Never heard of them. You need to pick a couple of movies worth watching.
Maybe that was his point?

Ding ding ding.
Personally enjoyed Ishtar but then i'm an 80's film junkie.
As for the poll - I passed on both
i picked wildstar because of the variety it offers. the dungeons feel oddly open which is a good thing, the pvp is extremely varied, and the content is challenging. Eso had potential but what really killed it for me was the general lack of ability(and need) to group with and communicate with others outside of pvp.
Elder Scrolls Online
ESO is a good game that is ruined from bugs / bots / hacks.
Wildstar is just not a good game. WoW clone 2014
ESO is a half-finished product and a single-player MMO with MOBA on the top.
Wildstar is very well done and solid MMO with arcade game style combat and linear questing.
Not interested in either of them, but i might purchase WS only because for once some studio releases a polished game and not some awful bug infested garbage like we have used to.
First off, Wildstar isn't a WoW clone.. I think you're confusing it with Rift..
Does WoW have real target, skillshot abilites? NOPE, you click target, spam buttons and your magic heat seeking fireballs manage to hit your target with no effort.. Wildstar is about skillshots.
Does WoW have dodging and sprint? NOPE! Because WoW is a lazy man's game with a lack of skillshots. Please don't try to tell me that there is anything worth mentioning.. even the arrows are heat seeking..
Does WoW's intro events (level 2-6) involve an engaging story with action and dodging all kinds of stuff (no).. in WoW you walk up to an NPC who tells you 50 pages of lore while you try to stay awake... in Wildstar, they say OK man, we need to go save this, or do that.. all while bombs are going off and you have to dodge them, and then you have enemies you're dashing past to complete objectives... it's actually very entertaining even past MMO standards.
The only thing WoW-clone about it is.. well.. the graphics? But since part of their dev team IS the original developers of WoW.. I have trouble finding your argument..
Sorry, but in my honest opinion, Wildstar is a fresh face among a stagnant pool of MMOs. The action is fun, the story is entertaining, and yes, it does follow the same "grind x amount of mobs" quest... but at the same time.. the game has many thing to do besides quest in that sense..
There are Paths, or subclasses, you can pick, and enjoy (and I did)
Wildstar has linear questing
If that's your argument, then that is no argument at all.. that can be said for any RPG in general.. witcher 1 was extremely linear but it was one of the funnest game's i had played to date..
My vote goes for Wildstar.. though, one thing, they really need to optimize the engine.
VR10 here, played both. Like wildstar a bit better
ESO: Imperials (if you got the monies)
WS: Itchy vs Scratchy mmo

Ryoshi1 as Rikimaru
I can't wait for six months from now when this dead horse's bones have been beaten to dust and we can stop hearing about this and WoW will still be at the top with WoD out and ESO will be f2p and WildStar will be doing okay but not huge.
I voted WIldStar because it is just far more a complete game. WS may be a little WoW like but aside from folks on this site there is a big audience for people who want more WoW like product with different stories and characters. I mean I like superhero movies I loved The Avengers, but I still want more superhero movies.

Wildstar - old school good social MMORPG
ESO - bad TES game with MP
GW2 is the game for you. We know that, you know that. Just stay there, leave other games alone. Problem solved no more bitching
