Black Desert: Western Publisher Thoughts

So Black Desert needs a western publisher. I made a list of gtfo publishers who shouldn't be considered. And the companies who should get the chance.
1. EA, Blizzard, Sony, Snail all deserve number 1 gtfo. They all have too much going on. And are guilty of some of the worst cash shopping practices. Or just bad with communities in general.
2. Ncsoft too many games coming and they can't even be honest.
3. Nexon Cash shops in a very sneaky way. I don't like it they're a no go.
4. Perfect World Cash shops EVERYTHING stay far far far FAR away from them Daum.
I know I'm being hard on these games. But they deserve it because I'm truly tired of pay to win. And I'm someone who could afford to do it. Doesn't mean I deserve a crown over any other gamer.

The following are companies that should be considered. They either have good practices or good with communities.
1. Trion They have the best cash shop practices we have in the world. It's fair balanced and they care about community
2. Square-Enix I mean duh the awesome they would bring to the game is one thing. But they also have patience and wouldn't abandon it easily.
3. Funcom Like Square they wouldn't leave the project hanging. And they do a very good job immersing community. Which is where this game would have an issue.
4.Tencent has already said it wanted to start doing western games. Now would be an excellent time to jump in and show these western companies how to do it.

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.

Trion I'm on board with, but Funcom? I'd consider that a disaster worse than Blizzard or even Sony.
I'm sorry. This is one the funniest responses in a thread I've ever seen on this forum.
You have to think about certain things.
Funcom was added because they care about not having pay to win. And they would have resources to cater to the game and community. Plus they wouldn't really have to do much. Beyond do the westernization, programming would still be under Daum.
En Masse and Arena Net would work.
But both have games that would conflict with Black Desert. Tera and Guild Wars 2
While I understand your new found trust in SOE (it does seem they're finally starting to "get it"), I still wouldn't trust Black Desert to them. Black Desert is too important of a game to place in the hands of a struggling company with all their eggs in a giant sandbox mmo basket (EQ Next). They would probably neglect it the same way they neglected Vanguard for years, putting it in the back of the bus (backseat analogy not descriptive enough) while they focused on their own titles like EQ 2 which was clearly an inferior product to Vanguard in every respect other than client stability (hey, they game was launched 1 year early). Between SWG and Vanguard, I just don't trust SOE to self-servingly repeat their past offenses.
Like I said, Black Desert is too important. This game has the potential to completely redefine the genre.
Tencent is the publisher that HiRez is using to bring Smite to China. They are the typical Chinese company and forced HiRez to do all sorts of changes to the game to fit China's ideals, i.e. removing all skulls from the game, scrapping models that they didn't like for other versions.
I wouldn't trust them to walk my dog.

Trion is the only good choice. But they are busy with Archeage now.

Not sure why Trion is such a good choice or why they would be considered to have the best cash shop choices.
The freemium model of Archeage really put me off - paying a sub for things like housing is fine if you're not milked for everything else under the sun in a cash shop on top. Even the founders pack had things like +stat cloaks and whatnot which will probably be released every few months with a extra few stats.
Another version of Archeage business model would be very disappointing for me.
Trion is bad at F2p
After it went f2p you had to farm like 1 week to buy one Pvp item while they were selling them for cash next to in game currency

What about game well it will be amazing heavy modded skyrim is joke compared to that game World detail and graphics plus the realistic view Is so damn GOOOOOD!!

now lets get real here, blizzard, square and funcom I can't see then hosting games from others company's, from what you did mention was only NCsoft a maybe, lately they are not really interested in ahving anything onver western, plus would be easier they do it with blade and soul but nothing of it till now, sony they are more focused on older games,
what you guys can hope for real are trion, enmasse or they own.

Agree Blizzard have and money and experience they could buy all project with engine and developers ))) and keep in in right direction while other Asian developers proved to be so dumb after release ... for example like XL game with fail AA..
Blizzard is the only one who can give us a good P2p experience . Considering their "titan" fail
