Watch Dogs isn't that good..

Played through the first act and I am highly disappointed. The world seems so robotic. It is nothing like GTA or Red Dead games. Also the story is very cliche and very boring. Side quests are very boring and repetitive. Sorry I even bought the game. Oh well they all can't be good. Might just trade this puppy in for something more fun.

    Got to disagree on this one , I find it a whole lot of fun and very engaging.. I guess every one has a different ideas about these things though.

    Have you thought about what you might trade it in for yet ?

    i havent played it but from seeing it ..isnt it like gta but with a hacking device?

    Straight out the box it was horrible but after visiting the forums and tweaking the graphics it plays well now.  I'm having fun exploring and transferring funds from bank accounts, also police chases are fun.  I haven't even gone back to doing the story line yet.

    I've been enjoying it.  I found that money was a bit easy to come by with all the hacking and I had access to most of the weapons fairly early.  (grenade launcher ftw)

    I went out of my way to complete all the side quests available before proceeding with the main story and I think it's enriched the experience.  Finding all the audio logs and stuff really opens up the story for later.  It starts off as a revenge trip for Aiden but it becomes something much more.  I'm currently only at the end of Act II, but at this point it feels like there's something much deeper brewing.

    the only thing im disappointed in about the game is the mecha spider is only playable in side missions really wanted that to drive around town and cause some chaos.

    I'm not sure there isn't a cliche story these days, is there? Apart from Red Dead being, really, one of the only Western games out there, and GTA being one of the few anti-hero games out there, I can't really say that they're breaking new ground in writing, are they? I will agree that the execution of the story seemed a bit cheesy at times, but there are just so many cool and intriguing new gameplay elements in this. Just my 2 cents.
