Not loading server list

I launch the game and it just sits there trying to retrieve the server list.  I've Googled this and nothing comes up.  Any ideas, anyone, pretty please?

    Consider yourself lucky, game is horrible. Usually that means the server is down for maintenance or crashed (based on other mmos)

    I'm not expecting much from the game, but I wanted to try it on a whim. :)

    the game itself is ok, not great but not terrible.  The big concern is the weird pricing model they are going with.
