Name Taken...FOR EVERYTHING!

in Darkfall: Unholy Wars

Is anyone else having this issue with creating a character?

 

Now im not just saying I did stand fare fantasy names, I literally did as many combinations of random and my own words as I could and it still said "Name Taken" for literally everyone of them. Anyone got any ideas?

 

Update!

 

I hate to make a thousand posts on the same subject but I just wanted to update everyone and tell them that my former character was restored within 15 minutes of me asking.

 

Again to point out how far this company has come apparently this process used to take them 36 hours minimum and now they are spot on with providing customer service and ive been extremely pleased.

    Yeah this has to be a glitch or bug, im literally getting "Name Already Exists" for anything I put in.

    Darkfall technical support FAQ on their own official forums:

    "Q: I am unable to create any char as I get the error “Name already exists “

    A: Contact AV support to solve this issue"

    Yeah I made a ticket, from what Ive read apparently my old character is stuck in limbo on their servers somewhere and thats what is preventing me from making a new one.

     

    I told them to just delete the old one, Id rather just make it simplier and jump in the game. Plus only had like 14k prowess or something.

    Glad it worked out for you so fast.  The CS definitely does sound good.  Only a couple mmos have that type of good service.

    if memory serves me correctly I think just ignoring the message and saying ok anyway creates the character. If that is how I recall it, I am surprised because that was 2008!

    Yeah a friend of mine said the same thing, Its wierd how I didnt even try that haha

    You can always come up with a name that's not taken. Here's one for free.

    make sure and put a first and last name or it will auto give you a shity one, using a last name will help get a name you might want
