although i'm pleased to have grabbed a key so i don't want to bitch too much but i don't understand what the big frikkin secret is as far as the time/date of the beta client availability
also, some of us (me for instance) don't have the best "high-speed" internet so hopefully the availability is really soon now
I'm not attempting to get a key. I will be playing this when it comes out but i don't want any head start. I want to play a game again and not have any clue as to whats going on. A fresh start. So while im happy some of you will get a chance to play the game, ill be sitting and waiting with anticipation for my chance to start fresh and explore a virgin world once again.
I hate giveaways its a total slap in the face to everyone who took the time to actually sign up. You giveaway 50k keys but only invite 10k from the people who actually took the time to sign up and actually know about the game.
Just an update, emails just went out to select players who signed up for beta on the ArcheAge Website. Here are the instructions for Beta for those with a key:
1. Get Glyph, the desktop launcher for ArcheAge:
If you don’t already have Glyph, you can download it now. Click “INSTALL GLYPH” at the top of the page and run the installer after it downloads.
2. Install ArcheAge Beta:
Launch Glyph, log in, and choose ArcheAge from your "LIBRARY" tab. Select "Beta" from the drop-down box in the top-right corner and click the "INSTALL" button. You may need to restart Glyph for the drop-down box to show
3. Play ArcheAge:
To play during a Closed Beta Event, just launch Glyph, choose ArcheAge Beta, and click “PLAY” (or “UPDATE” to patch). Note: You can save time by installing ArcheAge before your Closed Beta Event begins!

No secret. It was only ready a few hours ago and the alpha players got to download and test the client first. In fact, that revealed a couple of major bugs at least one of which related to the cash shop looks unlikely to have been fixed before the beta players get it too. They are waiting on XLGames to provide a fix now. Hopefully they'll get that within the next day or two.
The beta client is available now as someone already posted. So get that installed and start playing tomorrow. [Thursday] You shouldn't need anything from the cash shop at low level I would have thought.

I got one key...but it´s already 16th and they haven´t released the client to start downloading the game in advance...
and the beta starts in 1 day!!!
Hope it´s not too big and really hope they have big downloading servers rdy to get hammered
