WOD: garrison lags far behind.

I am not trying to be mean and ruin someones happy about wow. Its just hard to over look the fact that ever quest lank mark kicks the crap out of Wod garrisons? Is this just to obvious; has anyone noticed this, does anyone have a comment about this, do you agree I sure do.
I know i haven't seen, all they are putting into the Wod yet, but its shows that land mark is highly superior to it. As, of now. But, I will reserve my end judgment till. When, Wod is released. Everyone needs to keep raising the bar in mmo's, this seems to be going at a slow rate. Anyways, we will see what happens wod versus everquest land mark.

Well, I think you're trying to compare a sandbox freebuilding game to an addition to WoW that is mostly static in nature. The garrison system is simply supposed to be your base of operations for the xpack. It has some upgrades available, but you're not out building it block for block. It's basically you selecting where props go, it's not meant to be a sandbox experience.

I think the comparison to Landmark is probably off the mark. There aren't many AAA mmos out there today that offer freeform building in a somewhat realistic graphic style; Rift and Landmark are the only two that come to mind but there may be others.
With the little understanding I have of Garrisons, they might be better compared to LOTRO or Aion or some other mmo with prefab housing.

WoW is a decade old, EQN is being built on modern tech. Of course it's more advanced.

Garrisons are a cool idea in theory, I'm interested to see the execution.
I still think if they add a battleground where Horde vs Alliance can fight maybe a 3v3 or 5v5 with NPC troops attacking each base MOBA style, where your character is your hero of course, would be the only thing that could really make me truly excited for garrisons.

Well we know who hasn't "played" considering it's not really a game.

Yes, played since early Alpha. I think most people would not call it a game. If you are a builder, though, it can be a fun timesink.

Ya I played it a few hours and uninstalled it. Just couldnt get into it. Just thought it was me. I consider anything you can play a game.
Sure if you strip down everything that WoW has so WoW would only become Garrison then yeah Landmark will "beat" it.
In the now, I don't feel you can compare those 2 games.
