Destiny: PlayStation Network Connectivity: Intermittent

Just hours before the beta launch of Bungie's Destiny, the PlayStation Network support site lists connectivity as "intermittent". As yet, no word has come down from the PSN support site as the cause of the issue.

Screw that i took today off to play destiny and now website is down and psn download is 5 hours.
i demand compensation for lost wage.

Yeah like OMG there are server problems....Maybe it's because you opened the door to the download at the same time, instead of opening it a few days before? Shesh...
After playing the alpha of Destiny I was not that impressed with it to pre-order it to gain beta access. So I'm only mad that I can't access the PSN store or PS Now.
Destiny felt more like Bungie was trying to capture the Borderlands franchise but fell short of it. Was not bad but was not that impressive either as the new's hype gives it.
Cause of the issue!??? Are you kidding me it's because of the Destiny beta who cannot do that simple math.

Actually the download is NOT beta the PSN is NOT in beta...Please learn what the hell you're talking about before you spout the BS of "It's Beta" And as he isnt even IN the beta yet, "Its a beta man there should be problems" holds no meaning.
AND they gave PS users more time because they are trying to suck more of you into the web that is Bungie...Xbox players are already all up for Destiny because they have played Halo for so many years...PSN, I don't think have had much from Bungie to play with...could be wrong.
Bungie CEO says, "So, we have the XB people because they see our name and know Halo and throw money at us....How do we get the Sony people to do the same?"
Bungie masses says, "Give them free stuff! Bribe them with technically useles things that seem majorly improtant, to show them how awesome we are!"

Now, before someone points and scream about I'm obviously jealous of PS and must be an 'xboner' I am a Gamer, I have no flag to wave, no company to fanboi. I play games, where the games are. Well psn is working good for me now, my download will be done in about an hour.

The intermittent issues from facebook was the fact that Sony forgot to renew their domain names, this resulted in several games being unplayable.
If you were trying to connect to their forums/ game sites you were being directed to the company that held the domain names.
Quite a big cockup.......
