I'm going to sub to the game as soon as it gets released. But he is right about that. Im not sayig it is a good or bad thing but paying for alphas and betas encourages other publishers to do the same.

Thats cute but not really, i am defending both side of the medal while saying that yeah i never had any issues with hackshield but it is very well known that a lot of communities fought against it in every single game it has been in and that hackshield doesnt stop hackers or cheater. Anyone that is 12 years old higher knows this and if not, a quick research will educate you.
I am not saying do this or do that, i am strongly against ArcheAge but do not tell anyone not to play it, i marely tell them to avoid spending money in it until they reach max level and see why there is so many complains about the LP and big game mechanic flaws.

We went from many years ago, people were being paid to be game testers, now you pay twice the box price or should i say 150$ for a free game at release. What proof other than history do you really need... Like really?
Even the rich people wont like what ArcheAge did with its alpha and core game mechanics, no one likes to feel trapped and especially not rich people, rich people become rich by being smart with their money.

What part of my post did you missed? I am just educating you on what most of you lazy kids couldnt afford in so far, yeah that 150$ alpha. If anything, i am only using my right as you so said, to do what i want to do, speaking my mind about ArcheAge and the new standard in gaming industry to charge ridiculous amount for games that arent even finished.

We are well aware of what we are buying with AA, the 150.00 was a bit high for my normal range, but I feel I got good value for what I spent so no problems.
I don't care if other folks can't afford the tab, or if future developers decide to charge this again, or even more, I'll make up my mind then whether or not it's worth paying for. I don't really care if you or anyone else can't or doesn't want to pay it, I say let developers offer what they want to.
Heck, if I had my way they'd offer premium, heavily moderated servers and I'd pay a 50.00 a month sub just to keep most of the riff/raff off of them.

Well you can see just in maturity the huge difference of a lot of fanboys here, while i really hate what Trion and XL Games did with ArcheAge, i did and do find a lot of good things about this game. People will defend this game regardless of what Trion does to it, say charging you for inventory space on top of 150$ for alpha and on top of a monthly sub fee, which anyone should admit that it makes no sense and it is a freaking shame to the gaming industry... No matter if you are rich or not.
Right now i play ESO, im i a fanboy of ESO? No, do i like it? Yes. Eso has a ton of flaws, its still buggy as hell, gameplay wise and a lot of quest are still stuck. But overall for me its what i like to play but i wont go deny any of its flaws...
Just like i wont go deny that the imperial race and horse 20$ pack was ridiculous, especialy tied to an insane gold pricing of the horse in game. Just be real kids, thats all.

I am really happy that you dont care sir, even tho i am quite confused to see that wrote all of this anyway... Like i said in a few previous post, i am all in for a game that cost 50$ monthly or heck 150$ to buy it AT release. That is, if the game isnt annoying you to buy more inventory space, LP potion or glider speed, thats all good.
My problem never been the price tag but how they put it all together. They made it so it keeps milking you, specialy the LP mechanics, but you people dont seem to quite grasp the concept yet.
If you read the post above of which you quoted, i said that it is well known for bugs, updates, gameplay problems and a lot of problems in general. Security wise, lot of programs are spotted as trojan when they really arent, so who knows really, not you and especialy not that know it all DMKranos.
