im thinking to come back in FFXIV

in Final Fantasy XIV

hello guys. im thinking to come back in game after one year.

i have a paladin 47 lvl but i must have miss a lot of content.

what is lvl cap now? is worthy to progress my paladin or start from beggining.

how is the population of the game these days.

    Population is still good from what I have seen, depends on server most likely.  I play on Sargantanas, which is a legacy server, and there are always people online.

     

    Level cap is still 50, plenty of new dungeons have come out, first two tier of Binding Coil & Crystal Tower are live, and the relic questline has been extended to further empower your weapons.

     

    The next big patch a few months down the road will bring the last tier of Binding Coil of Bahamut as well as introduce the new job class: Ninja.

     

    You will have plenty of content to catch up on, but that is probably a good thing.

    I think it would be.

     

    I had an unopened box of 14 on the shelf with my FF collection. So as to not have a number skipped on the shelf in the collection. I got to thinking 'Hey, that does have a free month in it! I should at least play that!" So I did.

     

    That was a month ago, and I signed up so I can keep playing. It's an awesome change of pace! I love the FF feel it has! I also love that I could possibly have every class/job on the same character! I've unlocked paladin, and am now working toward summoner.

     

    I don't know why or how, but it kind of makes me feel like I did when I was in EQ years ago.... kinda funny....

    Level cap is 50. 

    You will never get bored with this game, there is so much to do and content is at a pace that if anything is almost too fast. The population on my server, Excalibur, is very high. Always running into people, regularly doing hunt partys with over 100 members. 

    There has never been a better time to get into FFXIV.  Ninja / Rogue (new job and class) coming soon as well as a new raid tier. We are in the catchup patch now, so it won't take you long to get back into the swing of things. Enjoy!

    i just restarted a month ago, from a lvl 50 paladin. There's going to be a ton of stuff for you to do in pretty much every aspect of the game.I recommend finding a friendly, non-hardcore guild so you can have people to talk to and get advice from. 

    Most memorable games: AoC(Tryanny PvP), RIFT, GW, GW2, Ragnarok Online, Aion, FFXI, FFXIV, Secret World, League of Legends (Silver II rank)

    I came back a few days ago and I'm enjoying myself (hadn't played since the first month or so after launch). Plenty of people playing on the server I'm on (though dungeon queues as DPS sort of suck, still haven't waited longer than 20 minutes though). Level 26 THM right now, so I'm not even into the meat of things yet. Told myself I'd get to 50 first before allowing myself to get distracted by crafting and all the other stuff I wanna do.
