Finally tried the game.

I highly anticipated this games release. Then, as is common in Americans, I became distracted by a butterfly and forgot about it. 

 

I have my character up to level 32.  I have had a great time playing so far. Graphics are excellent. Gameplay is great.  It seems that everything is pretty open to the Free players. It does limit your broker listing to 10 at a time, but I can live with it.

 

Love the story, characters, dungeons, questing, cosmetics.  I may have found my new fantasy game when I'm tired of Sci-Fi.

    Even though i'm not playing anymore - TERA is actually a fantastic game. Unfortunately, like every other game here, it gets a lot of hate. Glad to see you're enjoying the game!

    At the risk of censure, allow me to voice a contrary opinion.  I found the questing horrible, most basic mundane of the fetch type quests. I felt dizzy with the combat.   It seemed I was jumping all over the place.  At some point I got tired of "Elin party!" . Maybe Eastern MMOs just don't appeal to me.  I couldn't find anything much I liked in this game.  Even the world seemed too bright and cartoony.  Im not a fan of cartoony looks in game so , of course, some people may love this look in games.
