World of Warcraft: Chinese WoW-Themed Amusement Park is a Reality

A few years ago, rumors and some pixelated images of an amusement park based on Blizzard's World of Warcraft surfaced during its construction. Fast forward to 2014. Thanks in large part to a couple from England, we can now see that the WoW themed amusement park has indeed opened, illegally for the record (copyright infringement and all that), and can be viewed in a series of images the couple posted to Imgur.com.

    Even if you had no idea what wow was......this amusement park will rock. goblin and gnome rollercosters, undead houses of horrors, naga water parks, tauren rides, etc. I'd go in a heartbeat if the flight wasn't 2k and in China.

    I normally don't like amusement parks but this would be interesting to check out. Blizzard would make so much more money if they created one in the states....

    I can see "WoW inspired" but there isn't much in the pictures that would imply copyright infringement.

    A prince is given a magical sword called "sorrow" which drives him crazy and he uses it to kill his father while turning him into an undead monster.......

     

    Gee... I wonder where I've heard that before...

     

    Chirst... The sword is even called "Frostmourn"

    The "news" is that it actually opened but the only images available are the ones from a couple years ago.

    It's one thing that it was being built. It's another that it's actually opened. Bring on the Blizz attorneys! :D

    You're trolling us, Suzy.  MMORPG.com is the only site referencing this at all in the past 6 months, except for one euro gamer site who is only quoting this link.

    Well at least now I know what they're doing with all the nerd money they spam so hard to get. I wonder if they'll have people dressed in green quest gear that come up to you with websites on their chests and beg for money.
