What if some how people died in real life if they get die in a FFA Sandbox MMO: would PK rates incre

The subject may be a bit harsh, but I made this thinking about Sword Art Online.

in Sword Art Online, I noted how despite the fact that; death in the game kills he player in real life,

and everybody knew this, and everybody had a common goal to beat the game to free everybody;

the game still had PKers and PK Guilds. I couldn't help but think about MMO society regarding FFA PvP MMOs.

there just clearly seem to be people out here that simply want to ruin everybody else gameplay regardless of a shared common goal.

there are lots of people like this in MMOs now days. Yeah they may be more closet in real life, but these people have clear psychological issues.

i believe if Sword Arts Online situation had happen, we would see a real life Purge due to FFA PK trolls wanting to unleash their trolling power on a larger scale than ever before. Biggest trolling of the century. I believe Sword Art Online really exposes what's wrong with FFA Sandbox PvP MMOs.

Ever notice ice how most modern day PvP sandbox MMOs now days are always ruined by the PK trolls? Just my point.

    If the games ruleset allows it then there should be no complaints. Just find other players to help you. This is the good side of FFA sandbox pvp. It opens up new doors for allowing players to help each other. I think if you were to die IRL if you die in game then most everyone would help each other.

    Yet another post.  Honestly, I'm absolutely sure this guy is getting paid by MMORPG.com.  It's an absolute certainty.

    How can dieing in a game kill you in real life? It can't. Something tells me you are drunk posting cuz your title is a mess and your opening comment is dumb. Don't drink before posting.

    if the player who killed/pk'd was free from persecution and the law for each time he killed someone then people would still kill people and even more players would die IRL because you've given them an anonymous way to kill people and you've put in a form of a game which desensitizes the horror of actually killing someone in person with no consequences other than he might be a victim one day.  Also you've given the killer a real sense of power over a player's life.  So yes there would be an increase.

    If the technology existed, there would be little to no change.

    PKer's do not care about other players. Since they do NOT see them physically die (it is through the game interface, yes?), why would they care? They still do not see a human being on the other side of that group of pixels.

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    "psychological issues" Really? Please show me what research your citing, or have you somehow divined this from peoples behaviour in a video game? Almost every person with this playstyle I know is friendly, reasonable and far from displaying psychological issues. Before you go making blanket statements about people based on their hobby, how about you do something which I'm sure is unfamiliar to you and think before posting. Taking up a bit of someone's time in a video game while working within mechanics that everyone signs up for, is quite different from taking someone's life. Am I saying there aren't a couple of people like the ones your describing within this demographic? No. But making such a blanket statement about an entire playerbase just because you don't find enjoyment in this activity, don't understand it or have some sort of vendetta just pushes my buttons.

    Is it acceptable with any other playstyle to make comments like these?

    You don't know how to use semicolons, so please stop using them.

    This just isn't going anywhere good, and is phrased in such a way as to be baiting when it comes to PKers/PvPers.
