Ac was my first MMO, after all the crap over the years I say to myself, you know what I am going to play AC, so I download the game after 10 years, get it all ready to go, even found my old log in and password written on a note pad over 12 years old covered in dust, mold, water stains, old girl friends (yeah I had fun over my old Dell back in the day lol), you name it, after all that I hit play and my AC crashes, all I hear is my video card going crazy making some grinding noise then my PC shuts off, lol, really my PC now days can handle 500 AC running at one time, hell my smartphone can run it 3 times over, I am at a loss, AC cant run one my system?
I am so sad right now because I wanted to play to maybe kick start that old MMO feeling again. any help?
I have a feeling its my screen res. I run a odd screen res 1440 x 900.? I also run a 750ti, can run BF4 on ultra at 60 fps, ESO at 90/100 fps on ultra but AC1 crashes, please help? anyone?

What about windowed mode? At least you can rule out your "odd resolution". If you can't get to the settings menu due to crash, maybe there is a settings or ini file written which you can edit manually.
Otherwise I would recommend the official forums.

I tried that ran it under windows mode and still crashed, im at a loss, my video card goes nuts making all types of moaning sounds and crashes my PC, major shit down lol, this sucks
Well, if everything else works, there really is something effed up with AC. Again, submit a ticket to Turbine. Who knows, sometimes these services actually do work, even if it might take several days (esp with a week-end in-between)
