The birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo is almost here, and it seems this year will be different:

First, no more musical crackers (from Dale of course), which is a bit shame, the newborn characters won't get it. On the other hand, the new questline is funny and well-written. Hobbiton is stuffed with Big Folks now who all want to listen hobbit tales

R.I.P. City of Heroes and my 17 characters there
Yep, the child's version with poor Lonely Mountain is cute, a few others maybe a bit over-written indeed, but the rest, many of them I found funny. Like he's with a bunch of weirdos called themselves the Riders of Roger and he got his own war-pony, or he's a vigilante and still in the Shire (nice reference to the Black Rider of Budgeford), or that simply one of Gandalf's fireworks dragged him off to the skies
Not a surprise only the postman knows the truth, that's why they are handling the post after all.
I know, I know... a one-year necro is not nice, but hey, it's their birthday again
And there was a great performance last night, a musical version of Bilbo's book There and Back Again: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?551422-EVENT-There-And-Back-Again-2014-The-Musical (maybe it'd be better to post it a few days before, for those who'd might watch it... well, they can do it the next year, since it's an annual event)
http://postimg.org/image/rvii1v26r/ ok, Gollum had a goblin's head, but since no Gollum mask in the game, the goblin-mask was a close call
