"What comes after World of Warcraft?" It's the question Blizzard has been asking for years. WoWis one of the most successful games of all time — just one of many for the studio behind StarCraft,Diablo, and Hearthstone. The next-generation project even had a name: Titan.
Though never official, Blizzard co-founder and CEO Mike Morhaime has confirmed with Polygon that the project has been canceled.

Wherever you read that from is wrong. Titan was an MMO, Destiny is not.
If you read these "rumours" please provide links, otherwise that's just baseless speculation. Blizzard aren't about to ditch 7 years of development over the success of an FPS game.
They might however ditch a project they had re-evaluated and lost confidence in because it wasn't coming together quite the way they wanted.
