How to kill an excelent gem of a game : Sublime developers, Horrid publisher

LukoooneLukooone Member UncommonPosts: 153

Developers bring us:

True gem of a game with non instanced PvP, the death pops in your face when you are doing a trade run, a quest, killing a mob... Adrenaline Rush in the face!

Boring quest hubs with typical "kill 10 astrozombies" and so...

Sublime housing and crafting systems with non instanced housing well done for the first time since Ultima Online.

Naval combat, what can I say? You can have fun even just watching the videos of this feature...

Mounted and Airborne PvP, excelent, best I have ever experienced in a mmorpg.

Innovative and true unique class system, fun as hell to create a healing archer, a defensive caster a buffer tank or a crowd control healer and the list goes on with your imagination...

Innovative gatering where I saw people selling hide wilder farms or older trees they grow, 1st time in my mmorpg life, pure sandbox feeling in this feature.

Trade Runs with risk of being PKed or killed by enemy.

Mount with different skills and equipment, my eyes were wide open when I saw my mount skills werent the same skills that my other mount in beta, cars, tractors, borricooos... tanks??

Fun World Bosses and raids liek Crimson Rift.

Old Alterac Valley feeling in real zones that enter in war, fun fun fun to see 3-6 40man raid armies fighting non-instanced while you are questing =P

Little to no bugs game, compare it to any mmorpg start, AA has the best one, no possible discussion,Im still trying to find a bug that affects gameplay...

Publisher bring us :

Hell of queues that make my friends quit. Exiled playerbase powah!

Bad timing with WoW expansion Beta where my friends are now playing because they cant play Archequeue.

Horrid patching servide where I cant log in a SATURDAY NIGHT because of a disconection error cause by new hardware (really you need to do this today at this hour? REALLY?)

Brainstorming online labor points regen system that is filling servers with afk players (nobody logs out, no labor points regen! such a genius idea!) with a laughing non working afk kick system (hello macro keyboards, hello map on, map off, map on, map off...macro(they event didnt realize this is working to not get kiked out by the superexclusive anti-afk system))

But, but, but he attacked me when I was low life!

Yes, HE DID, why you cant do the same to him?

Uf that will take me a lot of time...

HERE IS YOUR QUEST!

Yes, WoW is the center of the MMO universe right now.

Regardless, the OP is correct.  AA needs a lot of work.

QQ about labor point is getting really really old and ANNOYING!!! Labor point is core gameplay of AA and in original Korean version and chinese version there is no labor point regen, all players have 3000 points, the labor point reset every monday and the only way to craft/gather/fish after point expire is to buy LP pots from cash shop. I wish Trion really just go ahead and follow the korean f2p version, we will see how much people QQ then. It seems giving both free2play and subscribers a fair system is not at all appreciated.

Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.

I haven't had any problems with queue's or LP, mind you i am a patron so i get a queue of 25 at max and since i have 5000 LP's and they generate faster i can get on with whatever i want.

If you are wanting to play the F2P system then you CHOSE to accept the queue's and limits of 2000 LP and no offline regen etc.

If you like the game so much then £8.99 a month is less than 1 pizza, cheaper than a round of drinks or 2 packets of cigs.

If you decided to only play F2P .. suck it up and quit whining.

So, what you're saying is that the publishers are horrible, because the game suffered from problems on launch that literally every other MMO has?

    Logic!!!

Since when is Tuesday a direction?

Other than the standard launch issues, like server queues - how much control does Trion have? They are publishing it - but no one knows how much control or say the developer has. You act like all the good stuff can be attributed to the developer and all the bad stuff is Trion's fault. On top of it, you blame the beta/imminent release of another game on Trion? You're a lunatic my friend.

Its not "another game" WoW is the shark of this market with his 6-7m players (more in a new exp) you like it or not... And some clever fishes dont like to swim too close to the shark...

Some of his other complaints  are I think fair to place at Trion/XLGames's feet but they didn't have much choice with this as the game is already several years old. Waiting another few months just to be clear of the WoW expansion would have been far worse for the game and as we've seen with every game that tries to compete directly with WoW, people that really want to play WoW are going to be playing it regardless.

Well, I never saw those 6-7 million players in WoW... in fact, I've seen more players in ArcheAge... the queue proves there are people playing. In WoW, you get a financial report alluding to people playing...

Personally I prefer games with players and not games with financial statistics of players. There is a difference.

WoW has about 100+ servers. You really can't compare that with a newly released game.

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

The labor pt system is just a ftp cash shop mechanic forced on everyone who wants to get the most out of the game. Patrons should be revolting.
