As the Topic Says beware that you can lose your founders items if you purchase a founders pack listed here
https://albiononline.com/founders/#content
Understand that the Founders Pack site itself doesn't inform players that items will be lost on death, perhaps the developers did notify players via Face Book, or F.A.Q / Forums, but not everyone reads these, and players should have been made aware before buying a founders pack on this site about the ability to lose items that you spent Real Cash for.
I understand Full Loot and I enjoy full loot, But I don't Understand how a Costume gives players any type of unfair advantage in the game and Don't see how these should be made full loot in the game.

So should anyone decide to purchase a founders pack beware of this unless you don't mind possibly losing items perhaps they will change later after this complaint.

Oh, the game's shooting for a UO pre-trammel type of sandbox? ...good luck with that. As much as people bash UO:Rennraissance, the devs were VERY adamant that the full loot PvP system was absolutely butchering the player base, that Trammel "saved" UO and they posted numbers to back it up, and my observances were that they were correct.
I was about to quit UO myself before Trammel came along. Full loot PvP was fun at first but became just too stressful for me (and for the vast majority of the playerbase, it seems)
Hi all,
there is an in-game warning message when you take the founder's items from the mailbox informing you that - as all other items in the game - they can be lost. However, we will make that message even clearer going forward.
Most importantly, as this is an alpha test (and thus, there are still server resets), all the founder's items will anyways be renewed during the next test and on the game's release.
So no harm done to anybody yet
It is something the Dev's should have made very clear, but then again it is full loot. Yea you spent money on items, but if it's a full loot game, well then one would think that you can assume that even those would be full loot too. Luckily as Korn mentioned, everything will be given back at next test and release so hope they either make it more clear for the next tests/release or make them no-drop.
Personally I think they should just make it more clear, rather not have "some items full loot, other items not" but that's just my personal preference.
Well they said they would fix the text tool tips to let players know, however the problem still is there that many of us paid the $99 or paid for a package with the early founder discount only to find out after our purchase and playing the game that our items could be lost.
Dark Fall Unholy Wars is a full loot game but items to my knowledge purchased from the cash shop are account bound which means I cant lose them.
Face OF Mankind is a Full Inventory Loot Game, but Cash Shop items are bound to account.
So in General just because I hear the word Full Loot, unless the Cash Shop specifically says right on the item im buying, or the front page that items can be full loot then I expect to be able to keep my items.
The problem is some of us don't even feel like playing this game now in fact some of us would just like to get a "Refund" and quit playing the game because to be honest I could have got another free key and played the game if I wanted to, but I choose to buy a founders pack specifically for the reason of collectors content which I believed I would be able to keep.
Perhaps I should just contact my credit-card issuer and get a refund for this game unless they plan or fixing this like the company themselves could easily make all cosmetic items not loot-able, make it so that players can "Craft new mounts" using the cosmetic skins rather rather than losing them forever on death, and no reason cosmetic items/skins should drop anyways in fact the developers claim that they don't want to make the game Pay 2 Win, how is giving players which we believed to have purchased Account Bound cosmetics Pay 2 Win.
Hi all,
as stated above, as this is just an Alpha test, all founder's items will be restored for the next test and then of course for the release of the game.
Note that there is already a pop-up when you redeem the founder's item that they can be lost. However, we will make this pop-up even more clear going forward, one idea we have is that the user has to type "okay" or "understood" and then hit okay before the items can be redeemed.
The reason why the founder's items are destructable is solely because we did not want to create two classes of items to stick to our philosophy and to not make the game "pay to win". The reason why we did not go for the "crafting recipe" solution is that this would mean that a infinite amount of founder's items could be created which would reduce their value.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

If you dont want to get surprises like this, make it a habit to always read the FAQ before buying.
Small descriptions and pictures dont always give you the full picture of what you will get.
But I do understand, no one really suspects that stuff you pay extra for could be lost and looted by others.
Guys, seriously?
Here's what you get. Some crappy cosmetic items that you should not be wearing in PvP for any reason. A T3 horse and ox, which you can craft a few days into the game, and some housing items, which you should never take into any PvP area, or any area in which you could actually lose said items.
The other founders items involve gold, which is like in-game cash, more valuable than silver. An avatar ring, as well as a colored border around your name shield. And... premium service for a certain amount of time. That's it right? You can't lose any of these btw.
Are you really complaining about losing some basic cosmetic items? That's what prevents you from wanting to play and asking for a refund? Really? Items you'll never use in a situation in which you can lose them in, except for the horse and ox. Wow. Just, wow.
I'm completely opposed to adding items that can't be looted or earned in the game. And I'm certainly opposed to the idea of being upset because I can lose an item. I'm getting alpha access and a ton of other cool things. I'm not going to focus on one little thing that shouldn't be an issue in the first place.
If you don't want to lose it, don't put yourself in a position to lose it. It's really that simple. It's quite easy to keep your belongings safe in AO.
