Oh I didn't make anything up lol, in fact my char that I played is still there with history available (including kill dates) and you would know this being clearly a blizzard 'defender'. anyway Ive played wow for prob 13k hours in total, im just as qualified as anyone who has played the game to comment.
rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar
@MmoChampion the zerging is not part of the difficult content - e.g fractals and tactical wvw play. You should have a look at fractal boss fights in videos, it's very tactical and the opposite of skill spamming. Bad play in GW2 does consist of spam/zerging with the opposite being pure reactive skill play. it's no different to other games, where say one end of the spectrum is standing and spamming, while the skilled player manages movement and synchronises timing with skills to optimise performance.

I don't know why people are still throwing zerging around when the die ->rez-> waypoint-> run to boss-> attack-> die ->rez-> waypoint-> run to boss-> attack-> until boss is dead was removed like 4 months after release.
The open world bosses either require no zerg rezzing or if you are zerg rezzing you will fail.
In WvW might be a problem if a world severely outnumbers another, but there are ways smart skillful play will win.
I also don't see why people keep saying that holy trinity play is so much more this or that when in both the holy trinity version and GW2 version the players are simply playing their own personal game.
The difference resides on what the personal game consist - healers watch red bars, tanks watch aggro, dps do their damage rotations, GW2 players dodge/heal/deal damage. In both systems there are situations where you do extra things like, for example, stun someone or execute a combo field.
Currently playing: GW2 Going cardboard starter kit: Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders
Please no raids -_- I need more of the existing open world content, interesting world bosses like teq and wurm and marionette, a lot more dynamic events that tie the zone together and influence eachother. Like eqn are trying..
one of the "desirable" features mentions previous experience creating "large scale bosses and encounters, repeatable group content for a live game, large scale rewards systems, combat systems for multiple players."
That's not quite the same thing as "Will be implementing raids".
A raid-like Guild mission could be coming, but that doesn't mean gear threadmills and all the bad things adsociated with raiding.
What I'd like to see are dynamic event chains similar to the temple chains in Orr combined with large scale coordination similar to Tri-Worm. I actually think they've overdone it with that particular boss (insofar as I've only seen one head killed once and that was with an organized guild run), but if you get the balance right (like Teq IMO), you can have some pretty fun PvE content that still fits the overall approach of the game IMO.

<Welcome to my world>
Seems more like a pretty wild guess than a fact.
