Just dropping by to say "Hey ...how u doin?"

 

I used to be known as Enigma here (I was kinda a moron and deleted the account.....soooo if a mod can find a way to retrieve it I will love you forever lol....that account was a member since 2003!)....but it's been awhile!

 

But nice to see everyone and hello!

    Enigma! I was wondering what happened to you. How ya been? I don't come here as much as I used to as I've pretty much given up on MMOs at this point but I still do check in from time to time. Why did you delete your account?

    long story....had a crazy stalker back in 2011 so I went under the radar lol.

     

    I still play MMOs from time to time. Been messing around with Archage and SecretWorld a little

    Ah... I had a feeling it was something like that as you disappeared shortly after you told us about a change in your personal life (I won't go into it more than that out of respect for your privacy). The Internet can be a pretty harsh place at times so your reaction is understandable. Anyways, it's good to see you back. Hopefully you'll stick around.

    Enigma brings out all the people who rarely if ever post anymore!

    Wonder who else will come by.... perhaps Zorvan?!?!

    Anywho, good to see you're still doin stuff.  Much like Bren I kinda gave up on mmo's but still lurk here for reasons I'm not even sure of anymore.

    No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

    I believe Zorvan has voluntarily reduced his presence here this time.

    A lot less than what I used to but that's a good thing. I finally got a job about 2 years ago. warranty repairing computers on site. This month I got a job repairing point of sale systems that resulted in being paid 1/3 more.  So now I have the income to pay for games but not as much time to play them.  

    In the past month I've spent time in ATITD, Marvel Heroes, SWTOR, and figured out ArcheAge isn't for me. I've also played some STALKER,  Assassin's Creed and Crysis.

    Now that I can start to afford to have a life I'll probably start reducing my artificial life even more.

    I've been good, workin lots basically.  The Yoga Pants threads died cuz there's a lack of interest.... I know, hard to believe.  But it seems to be the way of things here on the off topic section....

    Much like Grunty, I've gotten a better paying job and now spend my free time doing all the things I couldn't afford before.  Still wanting to buy a motorcycle but not having a place to store it in the winter is the one issue that keeps me from getting one.  Short of buying a house I don't really want to pay a place to store it for me.  Wish the housing market wasn't expensive as hell here.

    As for games, I keep going back to the older stuff like Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2.  I think I'll stick to playing those for now since I'm having fun.  Currently in the process of trying out ArcheAge but again, like Grunty, I'm starting to think that it really isn't for me... much like the rest of the offerings coming out these days.  I'm honestly considering just not following the mmo genre for a while and maybe checking in a few years from now.

    We should all go find a different forum to call home or something.  Maybe pick a board more relevant to our current situation? image
