Metallica to play blizzcon!

That's why we didn't see updates for a year. Blizz was saving to pay Metallica for a blizzcon performance.

 

Also cancelled sub yesterday, the "ability prune" made the game lose what little depth it had. I'm sure it will be better at lvl 100 though once everyone has that 1 extra talent.

    Every class still has more abilities than they did back in BC.....

    That's about as strong as a defense you can make huh? I don't care about the number of abilities as much as the synergy between them. And from the 3 classes I played mage/warrior/paladin.....it's shit compared to what it was. I seriously doubt the handful of passives and 1 extra talent is gonna suddenly fix it. No I was in beta and welcomed these changes at first. But they didn't do anything except nerf/buff various things. They are not trying to build an entertaining game anymore. Instead they are trying to milk it for all it's worth.

     

    You guys have fun with you metallica performance and cash shop 1 patch a year milking tactics. Im gonna go take up sex.

    This sounds like the butthurt that's going around about the changes to WoW.

    I'm fine with them.

    I will adjust and still have fun.

    actually..i think the " ability prune".and stat squash was what the game needed to give it a boost...things are better now..it is more interesting...the change's are for the better ..not like you make it to be for the worst....but everyone choose's there own path in life...sorry you gave up..i think he fun is just starting.....can't wait for wod to arrive..gonna be a good time..!

    My main is a paladin. My rotation today in Ret is still more complex than it was in BC/WotLK. As a healer, I have more tools available today than i did in BC/WotLK.

    Since you said warrior, my guess is that you are mad that you are no longer the OP melee class its been for the last 5 years, and are masking your frustration in a "WoW is now more dumbed down than ever/there is no more dpth" post.

    As for sex...your profile says that you are 34....its a little late for you to only start "taking it up" now, don't you think?

    Lastly, the ability prune, stat squish, and CC reductions are the 3 most "this needed to happen" things WoW has done since it launched. Gameplay wise, WoW is now a lot closer the WotLK (its gameplay golden age), and its setting/lore is now very close to BC. WoD is almost the best of both worlds. Granted, it still has issues, but your OP is pretty funny.

    As far as the milking tactics go.... Ex Wives can be a lot more dangerous than Blizzard image

     

    Hopefully you will find the sex to be more enjoyable than MMO's.

    Arguably used to be good but very over-rated with their glory days and the stuff most people actually love them for far in the past. Seems like a very appropriate band to play a Blizzard event :).

    Well you guys are pretty friendly, but yeah its fine if you still enjoy wow. I simply don't like the changes. Warrior is my alt, my main is mage. And im not mad, just not being entertained. If you still feel entertained awesome, I hope you enjoy yourself.

     

    Lars can suck a big one, don't get me wrong I enjoy some old Metallica....but I do wonder how much Metallica charges for a Wow convention performance.

     

    Someoen should dress up as the Napster mascot and jump lars in the parking lot. That would be legendary.

    Metallica? about as relevanthip as U2 playing at Apple, at least they wont be forcing Metallica albums down our throats ...will they?

    Lars - the only drummer I know who got *worse* behind the kit over the years.

    Lombardo got much better for example (playing much more difficult songs mind you).

    I mean how do you get worse at your craft the more you do it????

    Here check out Lombardo playing War Ensamble at the age of 46 - which is a song Lars couldn't play even in his prime.

     I've always thought about going to a blizzcon, but could never convince myself it was worth the cost to do so.  

    I really think Lombardo's stuff with Grip Inc. was better than his stuff with slayer. And honestly metallica should have retired after the black album imo.

    and for the record mr "i like to flame", the combat is WAY more interesting atm, blizz did a good job with removing most of those skills (one or two per class, yea, obvious why you cry about that).

    Metallica doesn't have to be relevant/hip, they are Metallica !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I don't think i'd fit into skinny jeans, I'll look into some neon frames for my specs though.

    My point was no one under the age of 20 know who U2 or Metallica are unless their parents introduce them to the music.  Not saying get Beiber or some top 40 hip and now group , I'd rather no band and the money ime spent on something else.
