Heard World of Warcraft has a new expansion for everyone who quit. I hear it captured the Warcraft spirit.

I quit having fun in the first 2 hours, when I got my farm during headstart.
I quit paying after the pay to win mounts, had to get the Elk, just because.
I quit doing traderuns, too boring. Fishing is the same, and mob hunting has never been fun. Killing Goblin Scouts in DFO (not DFUW) was actually fun, AA mobs are not.
I quit logging in daily a week ago.
I installed Path of Exile, so far, it's amazing. Elite:Dangerous is next.
My guild is decent, I feel I should not just drop them like the bad habit that is Archeage, so I will log in again to give away my stuff to my guildies. But I cannot be bothered to mow the grass as an endgame activity.
I am one of those that breaks your mold then. I quit about 3 weeks ago. I did log in to check out the Auroria launch, but most servers weren't even in high or locked. When I asked about the land rush I got an ear full.
Is that a fact? or you happen to know all these players personally?
You remind me of those poor musicians who decided to continue playing the music till the very end when Titanic i was sinking into icy cold water.
I uninstalled two days before Auroria because I couldn't stand how overt and totally shameless Trion and XL are about their whale hunting monetization techniques. I don't ever want to see a sandbox with a cash shop slapped on it again. And thank god I missed the debacle that auroria launch was, apparenty. Woulda spoiled my birthday for sure.
Re-started FFXIV with a few friends and ... it took some getting used to but I guess it's growing on me. I got a free halloween costume from doing a halloween event quest (which was comparatively oozing craftsmanship) and along with the 2000 gil to change your characters' features made me actually feel SPOILED for once. Minor details surely, but they add up. Just a shame it's a straight up themepark.
I've seen your fanboy posts for this game....you like it, so what? Good for you. But many of us are pissed off at what has become of it because we really wanted to like it. Many people are quitting the game, you will get plenty of land, have fun.

They can all stick their "modern" monetization schemes where the sun don't shine...

A core part of the whaling strategy is they DO leave eventually. They dont' leave at first. They scream at first, they stick around, but EVENTUALLY straws break the camel's back. That's why it's important to get the money out of them early while you can. The shorter lifespan is mentioned in R2Games' presentation on the subject, but admittingly R2Games' presentation never really touches upon things like "Competency when it comes to server connections during major updates"...

To show the internets what is possible with the tools given in ArcheAge" - 15/30 days later they finish this ingenious idea, but didnt realize they were the whole time just hypocrites in disguise.
Are you going to keep on working at your company, just to state your "feelings" of what an asshole your boss really is? Are you going to come up with a panflet made out of old chewing-gum you find under tables, to show your "affection" towards your boss?
If you don´t like it, where you live, work or what you play - how about just stop and find a solution, the same moment you had "this epiphany"...but naah let´s keep on playing ArcheAge the way it´s meant to be played, lets farm more, let´s gather more materials, let´s spend more of our time with this fugly, piece of shit game we do clearly not like at all... it´s for the karma! points!
All it takes is paint.exe, select TEXT tool and enter your message copy that onto a Trion Wallpaper ... 10mins at most. Shift + Del the install Folder and The End, never felt better after doing that to ArcheAge! What a P.O.S.S that is..

I don't blame anyone for leaving, but you'd think they were getting paid to trash the game. Here they say they've quit archeage and what a horrible company... blah blah. Yet you waste your breath continually visiting every new post that pops up on this forum to tell others you quit. Just quit and be done with it, trolls. You're not being constructive, you are trying to argue your reasons for quitting are valid and for no other reason than that. It's pointless!
Some are going so far as to find proof, or evidence, it's mind boggling.
