MMORPG.com has partnered with the Allods Team and My.com to give away 100 keys granting access to the Skyforge beta weekend event taking place between November 13-16.

Entering the sweepstakes is simple: all you need to do is go here and submit your entry. Entries will be accepted through Monday, November 10. Winners will be selected randomly from the pool and announced on Tuesday, November 11, with keys and download instructions to be distributed on the same day.

Remember, once you've submitted your entry, logging in to your MMORPG.com each day will earn you an additional chance to win.

W00t, I'm quite surprised they're far enough down the line to start Closed beta testing...

Unless this is ACTUAL Closed beta testing, where they simply use (free) hyped up fans to actually test very basic systems! And with the game still being in beta 1 year from now!

But...I thought there were no more companies actually doing that, and CB had just become "promo play time without any quality commitments from the devs"....

Is this game in beta currently with a NDA?

First I have read about it, kinda sounds like a cool concept but I cant find any kind of info online about people having played it.

To those wondering about this closed beta weekend event, this is a "technical test." Meaning, the purpose "will be to test Skyforge’s core systems such as server infrastructure, client distribution system, login services and more." (from the official Skyforge Beta Event post)

So yes, this will be an actual beta event while also allowing the testers to offer valuable feedback.

The only people to have already been in a test have been the lucky members of the Russian alpha testing that served a similar purpose to this upcoming test. Other than that, there hasn't been any beta testing.

Yes, there will be an NDA in place.

I'll try to answer any other questions anyone may have.

Game looks interesting and takes a fun take on the entire "hero" by making them a God who looks to recruit believers. I wonder what kind of development that'll allow character-wise. Maybe I wanna be a more Mayan, sacrifice your slaves to me, kinda god. You know?

I have to agree the game looks amazing, Allods is not a horrible game and if they can take what they learned and really put it to good use, should be one of the better niche games coming down the pipeline.

Played allods for over 2 years, they have not learn much, then new ways of how to cash shop people well. Game play for allods is not a bad game, but very lack in content other if you like to grind for your gear, and pvp to upgrade your gear but the catch comes down to spend on runes to keep up with gear grind and other things as well.
